Outrage over 'racist' South African university video (AFP)

The video itself appears to have been posted as a twisted protest by racist students against plans to integrate university dorms. It opens with a voiceover in Afrikaans that says: "Once upon a time the Boers lived happily here on Reitz island, until the day the less advantaged discovered the word 'integration' in the dictionary."

I do think the media blew this whole thing out of proportion, but still, this is really bad, there was no reason to do what they did...

I am a little outraged by this activity....I posted this yesterday here and got little response to the thread....perhaps it's ok to make people eat food after you've urinated on it...thread was conspicuously silent.

After reading the description I do not feel inclined to view it especially so close to breakfast. As an American I have grown up with racism now and again throughout my life. It is an ignorant world view. What else can I say? I certainly won't be arguing for racism. There is a sometimes overlooked advantage to free speech - you get to find out what your enemies are really thinking.
