To start off, I want to say that I have much respect for those that are included in my list below; though I wouldn't dare dream of venturing
into these fields.
My picks:
1. ROOFER - Construction/Maintenance workers, who have to work in extreme temperatures. Imagine yourself, putting down HOT tar and
shingles on a house or an apartment complex. With that in mind, imagine yourself doing this job, in the Summer My skin is peeling layers
thinking about it. We're talking wellllll over 120 degrees farenheit, in some cases.
2. WINDOW WASHERS - "Can you say...High-rise apartments?!??! Look...I don't mind 'heights' at all. I don't have a fear of high
places, and sometimes rather enjoy looking out over the city, or cliffs, or otherwise. What gets to me, is the fact of performing that kind of work -
day in, day out - and I think my stomach would turn inside out after a few floors of washing. People below me would see the contents of my stomach.
Nuff said.
3. SEWER CLEANERS - Not sure if this the correct terminology. It's bad enough that people don't properly dispose of their wastes,
let alone just 'fling' crap to the way-side, but guess where it all ends up folks? How would any of you feel about strapping on a suit and mask,
and plunge into the 'garbage depths of HADES'? - Just to clear out the citie's backlogged plumbing? Hey?!? Somebody has to do it...RIGHT? Not
Me. I clean homes for a living...and...umm...No Freaking Thankyou!!! I have my limits.
Well....I've pretty much given up the ghost on what I think are IMHO, bad career picks...So?
Cough it up folks! What's yours?
