It's not only FUN, but a great Learning exercise for all!

Here's what you do:

1. Post a sentence or small paragraph (try to keep it from being too lengthy), and insert a few mistakes.

i.e. "That's not you're book...thats mine!"

Did you find the mistakes? Here they are:

"That's not you're book...thats mine!"

You're is a contraction for 'you are', and not a posessive. It should be: your.
Thats needs an apostrophe inserted between the last 't' and 's', because it indicates a contraction: 'that is'. It should be: that's.

Get it so far?

2. Indicate how many mistakes are involved.

i.e. "That's not you're book...thats mine!"

>(2 mistakes)<

3. Correct other posts...but don't forget to leave one of your own!

4. Grammatical mistakes can be included too.

That's basically it! Have Fun!

Ooopss..almost forgot to add one of mine, to start you off.

"She will except your apology if you promese not to do that again.

"She will accept your apology, if you promise not to do that again".

OK then Ducky love... You open with quote marks, but didn't end with them.

Promise was a spelling mistake not a grammar issue.

The (period) full stop can go either before the quotation or after: that's a stylistic one baby!

Also the entire sentence is a conditional so it will have a comma as one idea is conditional on the other.

Also the accept/except mistake is a homonyn, but that's Vocab really and not grammar.

homonym |ˈhäməˌnim; ˈhōmə-|
noun
each of two words having the same pronunciation but different meanings, origins, or spelling (e.g., to , too , and two ); a homophone.
• each of two or more words having the same spelling but different meanings and origins (e.g., pole 1 and pole 2 ); a homograph.
• Biology a Latin name that is identical to that of a different organism, the newer of the two names being invalid.

Now for my little gem.

It's a orange. No said Fred its an plum.

4 mistakes... maybe 5. Depends on how you view speech/quote marks?
