Why is the next president always the antichrist

Hi,

I just wonderd why people always see the next president (or for that matter next pope or next leader from another country) as the antichrist.

As far as I know the bible states that the antichrist will clearly show of supernatural powers. So far I haven't seen any president do so.

I'm not saying I believe or don't believe the antichrist thing, I just want to say why don't we look a bit further than presidents?

Because he just is. If Obama banana is elected the next president he will be definitely the next Anti-christ. Remember also that there are many AC's over the years. G.W.B being one of them too.
