I saw Senator Kerry yesterday at a "townhall" meeting in Wasau, WI. I was very unimpressed with him. I was even more unimpressed with the people. Everytime he metioned something about "how bad this administration is" people went nuts; hooting, hollaring, enough standing ovations to wear out the soles in my shoes. Lucky for my hands I sat there and didn't join in on all of the 'anti-bush' sentiment. Do you know how many times I had 'kerry for president' stickers put on me? How annoying. People are not concerned about the issues, they just want Bush out, so they blindly follow the dems.

gentlemen, start your engines-RAAAAHHH WOOO!(standing ovation)

Haliberton-YAAAAAHHH!(standing ovation)

Mess in Iraq-ROOOOOOOOAAAA!(standing ovation)

Get Bush out of office-AAAAAHHHHHH!(standing ovation)

Reform NAFTA-(clap clap clap)

Rollback bush tax cuts-ohh(clap clap clap)

HOW SICKENING!

Then, of all things some guy walks up to me and hands me a paper for the Dean 'rally' or whatever. He looked shocked when I ripped it in half right in front of his face.

Oh, I suppose that the crimes of Haliburton should just be swept under the rug and nobody should talk about how inept Bush is right? You repugnants are so vile, nasty, and filty. Every single one of you.

What do you say about that LIE from the repugnant Drudgereport about Kerry and the intern?

Your Mom told you that you are known by the company you keep. I know she did. So, while you dismiss Kerry, you are a murderous lying bastard b/c you support the repugnants who are equally lying murderous racist bastards. There is a Hell awaiting you.

Thank you. Thank you very much. BTW. Can we see the photo of Bush showing up for military duty? How about the photo of Rumsfeld making a deal on chemical weapons with Saddam and they shake hands? Can we see Bush's daily sign in sheets for the military?

I think we need to leave Kerry alone.

.....does that mean you're impressed with Bush?
Going to a pep ralley is going to get you, well, alot of pep and not much else.
Being that WI has lost 10's of thousands of jobs since Bush took office, I can see where people would be entusiastic for change. Can you blame them?
As for blindly following the Dems, how so? There were many a thread several weeks back on how the Dems should stop trotting out the 'dwarves' and back one horse; that's happened & now the gripe is that it's blind following!?!
On the issues you've highlighted:

- If a company has over billed the government a few 100 million dollars, shouldn't that be rectified?

- If we have sustained an estimate 20 thousand casualities , shouldn't our greed of control be minimized so the injury & death "benefit" can be shared with other nations?

- NAFTA = a good idea when the playing ground is level, but we know Mexico doesn't give a damn about OSHA standards. Scrapping it until things are equal is a great idea, especially for the skilled blue collar workers being displaced left & right.

- Bush tax cuts = yes, repeal them & redistrubute along a better scale.

along a better scale? What scale would that be?

OH NO, SOMEONE GAVE A TAX CUT TO THE WEALTHY.

They pay more in tax than you would make in 10 years chief.

Oh wait, they can afford it. Sure, let's rape those who make money. Damn communists.

I'd like to see a picture of Kerry NOT putting his dick in that girl. That seems like an equally rediculous thing to ask for. When was the last time you reported to a duty station, then got your picture taken. Quarter to never.

Look at this degenerate repugnant,"I'd like to see a picture of Kerry NOT putting his dick in that girl." Haven't I told you that repugnants were sexual degenerates? Well, repugnant, altho what you said is hateful, it is a LIE started by the sexually repressed repugnants. Kerry never had an affair with an intern.

It was in responce to this.

"Can we see the photo of Bush showing up for military duty?"

Although it was (self-admittadly) a rediculous question, it's as silly as yours.

Well, where is the record for him showing up to duty?????? (while he orders Americans to go die in Iraq?)

Who knows? I don't, nor do I like Bush, but it seems to me that either side chooses to believe something BEFORE it is proven on way or the other.

I # on both sides for this because this is what is making this election discusting.

Perfect example, the Kerry intern thing. when I talk to other conservatives they believe it although I think it is bull# to say one way or the other yet.

Here's another, Bush's arrest for drugs, or the abortion.

There's plenty of speculation and inference, but not a ton of facts.

Why can't Bush produce records of his being in the service for that one year? Why can't he bring up a sign in sheet? Because he desserted, that's why.

Who has sign in sheets?

Not me and I was in less than 5 years ago.

Did you not know that it was standard practice to give extended breaks due to the sever lack of anything to do with the pilots after vietnam?

Could that not be the case? Or is it true he deserted because it fits your hate?

Well KJ, let me tell you something: by all acounts & income variables, I should be as much a Bush supporter as Ken Lay. So how can someone whose made at least six figures a years since the age of 24 be so Anti-Bush!?!
Simple: policy made in lieu of social concerns is amoral boardering on immoral.
You need to reel in those hard polar opposite stances for anyone to take you seriously. Being for a better tax cut plan does not make one communist....just mindful of how economics works in the real world.

As points of consideration:

It was a mistake to lock in huge tax cuts based on questionable projections of future surpluses. In fact, it was negligent because unlike any good economic plan, it did not containt 'triggers' where the contigencies are accounted for.
As for the belief that these tax cuts serve as economic stimulus; if you believe that, STILL, I've got the name of several economic schools you can get sign up at.
If you also see the wealthy as 'over taxed'...see above.

Are there problems with the Bush tax cuts?

Sure, absolutely.

But my comments (while extreme only to counter the opposition) were not aimed at folks like you.

They were aimed at the communists who would like to ONLY cut tax for the poorer people.

Who look for wealth redistribution. You can not deny that there are quite a number of people who would love to do that.

You keep putting words in my mouth you scum. Knock it off and listen to what I'm trying to say instead of imagining what you think I said.

I have no clue if Kerry had sex with an intern. I don't really care because it's not relevant to the election. He can screw only so many people though. He's not going to be allowed to screw me over.

My mom never said that. I will keep what ever company I damn well please. Do you think I only hang around with republicans? WRONG! I am friends with plenty of dems and I have no problem with that. They can believe whatever they want as long as they think for themselves and not let their party do it for them. I NEVER said that I supported Bush! Get that through your thick skull, dillhole. Just because I don't support Kerry I'm a republican? I saw him and he was so scripted it was sickening.

Real mature, Colonel. Lets all resort to name calling.

No, not impressed with Bush. He's done some things right, but he's also done a lot wrong. One thing I'm pissed about is the fact that he totally forgot about the 'hydrogen powered vehical' that he mentioned oh so long ago. I think that needs to come back. I don't like the fact that we're dependant on oil, they're killing us with gas prices.

The people didn't much cheer for any of his ideas, but every time he mentioned how bad Bush is, they went nuts. Very few of those jobs were lost because of Bush. People seem to keep forgetting what happened after 9/11.(totally not bush's fault) How can you agree with someone just because they're not somebody else. Its just plain stupid. They're following the dems and not even understanding what the dems want to do. They have no clue what the gov't considers wealthy, and most of them fall into that catagory. Their tax cuts are going 'bye-bye' and they don't even know. I just don't get how people can support the guy when he dodged the same question three times.

I to have seen Kerry in person along with Dean, Edwards, Kucinich and Sharpton and I came out most impressed by Edwards and Sharpton. Kerry seems to dodge to many questions and at Marquette the other night Edwards had a classic line aimed at Kerry for dodging a question, Edwards stated, "That is the longest answer I have ever heard to a yes or no question."

Colonel is one of the people who will blindly back someone because of political affiliation and not issues. He is more concerned with spewing out false hatred towards issues he has no clue about then worrying about the real issues at hand. And if he had any clue about his own parties voting records and issues, he might think twice before blindly backing someone. He will criticize you because you actually took the effort to attend a real campaign stop, while he sits at home and reads here say about # he doesnt have a clue about.

Its ignorance and blind hatred that makes me absolutely disgusted of certain democrats. Especially the kind that think they deserve more than others.

Look, fool, I know what I'm talking about. If YOU knew what you were talking about, you would never support Sharpton b/c he is being funded by the repugnants. HE SOLD OUT! So, I have nothing but bile for him.

Going to a pep ralley is going to get you, well, alot of pep and not much else. These pep rallies actually teach alot about the candidate and what kind of crowds and policies they are trying to appease to.
Being that WI has lost 10's of thousands of jobs since Bush took office, I can see where people would be entusiastic for change. Can you blame them?Your right, but jobs started to decline before Bush was in office after China was allowed most favored nation status. And yes I know, because I was one of those displaced workers and my father owns his own tool and die business, so I know quite well when this started and why.
As for blindly following the Dems, how so? There were many a thread several weeks back on how the Dems should stop trotting out the 'dwarves' and back one horse; that's happened & now the gripe is that it's blind following!?! Never said you in particular were.
On the issues you've highlighted:

- If a company has over billed the government a few 100 million dollars, shouldn't that be rectified?Yes, but it is not Bushs fault and nothing has ever been proved that any illegal actions were ALLOWED by the Bush administration, if there was he wouldve been in jail and been indicted by congress. All of which has not happened.

- If we have sustained an estimate 20 thousand casualities , shouldn't our greed of control be minimized so the injury & death "benefit" can be shared with other nations? Im not sure your point or where 20k casualties comes from, but thats a little extreme and instead of appeasing to terrorists Bush showed bold leadership by taking the war to there region.

- NAFTA = a good idea when the playing ground is level, but we know Mexico doesn't give a damn about OSHA standards. Scrapping it until things are equal is a great idea, especially for the skilled blue collar workers being displaced left & right.I agree on some levels, but overall NAFTA hurts americans more than it helps them. The only people whi benefit are high salaried employees, while the blue collar workers get screwed left and right.

- Bush tax cuts = yes, repeal them & redistrubute along a better scale. Why? Why is it the richs job to support the lower levels of society? They, in general had many years of schooling, paid there own dues and have done the american dream and are currently living it, why is it up to them to share there wealth. Is this a Socialist or a Federalist nation?
