I was watching television the other day. CBS news. I can honestly tell you that I knew one of the anchors was a Robot. Then I realized that many of the people around us are in fact robots. I started examining their faces and reactions and their speech. Apparent Artificial Intelligence! The robots are here and I think that people in the media, news and politics could be robots.

Okey...

Could you give us proof, names? How do you recognize a robot? Is there any harm to them? I mean: if there are already so many and we did not notice them (at least I didn't), what's the problem?

Without this info, the claim sounds a bit... waco.

And according to Tenacious D we don't have the technology yet (One note song)

Did you watch Steven Spielberg's A.I? in that movie robots learn to immitate Humans and in many cases you don't know they are robots..until something goes bad with them. According to my theory, the Robot's I've seen on TV are already "Disfuctional". You can also see this in the movie ALIEN. This might sound crazy and don't take my word for it. But Obama could be one of them. Also, some Fox news anchors!

How can you tell? stiff back, weird neck movements and blank face expressions.

It is funny, isn't it.

Dude, seriously. You are refeering to movies. MOVIES. Not real life. they are fiction. AI was a cool movie though.

My father in law has bad back. He suffers from a stiff back and has problems moving his neck. Also i think he has a serious lack of humour because he doesn't laugh at any of my jokes. His face is expressionless, save for the resentment in his eyes. Thet makes him a perfect robot.

Still, he produced my wife. I can tell you, after thorough investigation: nothing artificial there!

Got any more proof?

NO Kidding! There's a couple women that do National news for a couple of the big networks & I can remember a couple of years ago thinking that they suck so bad they must be friggin aliens on some sort of exchange program. I never considered the your idea that they might be robots.

I dislike them so much I have to immediately turn the channel when they show up so I can't even remember their names. Their voices sound closer to mens but seem to have an extra wide irritating tone (almost dual) that for some reason is as irritating to me as if someone was screaming. I can be having a couch attack and drifting away, but then one of them come on & then it's like crap they ruined my nap.

Robots, Aliens, or just people that are completely revolting & incompatable with my being.

Ha Ha, Jedi - you finally made a post I liked -

Next I want to hear your post about how your world seems like the "Truman Show".

it sure would suck to be a robot in this day in age. there are metal detectors everywhere. schools, buildings, courts, stores, airports... either everyone is in on the robot conspiracy and lets them get by, or they just don't go out much lol.
good imagination though, just don't let it go too far, try expressing it on a canvas or piece of paper instead...

who is saying these robots are made out of metal or steel?

Maybe the government has biological computer systems that resembles our brain, that is so advanced that it creates it's own consciousnes..
(excuse me for bad spelling)

This way the computer can evolve, faster then any beïng that exists.

Wouldn't that be wierd?

Jedi, I honestly love your threads. They're so outlandish that I don't feel right trying to debate with you.

Whereas I don't think there are robots near that sophisticated around just yet, I wouldn't doubt it if they came one day to be.

A.I. was a PHENOMENAL movie, and Bladerunner, but I still think we're probably a good 70-100 years out still. Maybe longer.

thanks everyone. Someone spoke about how movies are not important and should not relate to my theory. but see they do!

Robots first appeared in films. anyone ever remember seeing metropolis? star wars or Terminator 2? well, in those movies robots appeared to be real. and if they can appear real in film, they could also appear real..in real life.

think back to the robots stan winston made for terminator 3. they had 3 arnold robots in that film that looked very human. robots advanced because directors like LUCAS demanded real robots. so in most recent films, you have robots that are created for the movies and look real.

in film, robots can fool you, like in AI for example. they made a robot that looked like the kid and it worked out pretty good. so what's to say Spielberg didn't use that technology to build a real robot? In simone, that guy fools everyone..it could be that in movies robots are the stars, heck for all I know Will smith could be a robot. or Tom Hanks.

the point is, C3PO and R2D2 opened doors for creators to make robots for films. and if they can do it in film, they can do it in television, news and other medias. that CBS news anchor I spoke about, could be a robot just under his chest, he could be hooked up to a socket under the chair and talk his way around. Remember disney? He has those pirate of the caribeaan robots in his ride. and everytime I go there I'm amazed of how real they look. what if CBS is pulling that on television? or what if they are to do that in the near future. something to think about.

First of all, if one of your bases for this theory is the "realism" of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride... I don't even know what else to say.

Secondly, a lot of what you see in movies isn't real. They might build a "robot" of sorts, but that does not mean that the robot is doing all of the things that you see him doing in the movie. A lot of that stuff is all CGI and added in to make you think it's convincing and real.

Yes, there were "robots" built for Star Wars, but they couldn't really shoot lasers or fly or anything like that. In some instances they were models, in some they were completely CGI and in some they were guys in suits.

I appreciate your enthusiasm for special effects and Hollywood technology, but it's important not to forget how blurry that line between fantasy and reality is.

I have to agree with jedi on this, Movies are based on some small part fact... wether or not its fact in this present day or fact in the future its not impossible thats for sure, in a day and age where we can communicate an download anything we want whos to say a Brain isnt one of them,

We have nano bots now, why not humanoids?

I mean the army has that ex-O Suit that can asist a man in lifting heavy weight, and we have the toyota bots dancing, and others playing chess, an others building cars, and others running spam and phishing scams, Why is it that much harder to think they are working around us.... Its not a far cry from what we have now....

Thinking outside the box is well how conspiracies are found out.

Do you really have to have an either/or here.
First, Ryan is not reading this thread. LOL
Second, he is CLEARLY kidding.

Just because someone appears to have no emotion and behaves like a robot. Does not mean they are one.

And just because its in a movie, doesnt mean it is so. I mean, I have seen movies where the animals talk!!! But animals dont talk. There isnt once ounce of proof that a cow can walk on hits hind legs and talk and play instruments (barnyard). LOL

but did you see the video? he accused Clooney of being a robot. isn't that proof enough for you? people post UFO videos here, reptile videos. etc. I post a famous guy like Ryan seacrest calling the most famous guy of all time a robot and it's not proof enough?
