i wish they were.. I had a dream last night about a girl I dated long ago, and even though I was young and it didn't go very far I think we fell in
love and I guess I'm still not over it 5 years later. It's pretty stupid and harsh but honestly I think I let the love of my life slip through my
hands. Saw her at a carnival a while back, she didn't even stop to talk because she was with another guy. I guess I won't live it down.
They say if its meant to be we will meet again. I think the carnival was that time and shes way past me. What can a guy do ya know.. We grow and grow
and try to change our lives for the better, and end up trying to live a new reality in our dreams.
Dreams exist to prevent us from psychosis. It is the dream which keeps us sane, because without spending half of our day in an altered reality we
would be quite depressed, and schizophrenic due to stress, redundancy, etc. etc.
Dreams allow us to forget about our life and put it aside because it doesn't matter for a while and really just let ourselves go. A lot of people
turn to drugs for this altered state of mind. As a result of turning to drugs however you lose some of your ability to dream.
They seem so real, yet nobody really knows if they are. When you are in one, you can reach out and touch, feel, smell, live, breathe, love, fly,
climb, dive, see, interact, talk and have meaningful conversations. I have had conversations and woken up just to tell myself "I really couldn't
have ever thought of that, was that a legitimate conversation?".
Specifically, yes dreams are another life. One in which we are able to experience many wonderful unearthly things first hand without responsibility of
our jobs, and hassles of daily life. Another life in which to some extent you have the remote control, and can act on impulse without it affecting our
"conscious" mind.
The question however that you are asking is, "Are dreams another reality in which you are interacting with other living breathing creatures in a very
real atmosphere among many other living breathing creatures?". This question is obviously tough, and everybody has an opinion towards is. Sometimes,
before we are completely in a dream state, I believe we have minor dreams which are controlled by our subconscious as well as conscious mind. However,
once in a complete dream state of sleep, you are no longer at hand of the remote control, and I believe you are interacting with other living
breathing creatures in a very real alternate atmosphere. The only question that remains is where are we when this happens and who are we really
communicating with?
The amazing thing about science is how little they have to offer about the mind, dimensions, and the universe. They are subjects which we have not
scratched the surface, although many will tell you otherwise. In my humble opinion, dreams are a parallel universe in which you can communicate with
all forms of energy, ALL forms. This means the living, the dead, souls, other living dreamers, organisms and energy from parallel dimensions, energy
from across space which has traveled faster than the speed of light because it was telepathic instead of travel the way we see it today.
I will leave you with a few extra questions to ponder which are directly related to the subject at hand -
Where do we all meet up? Is it in our chromosomes to know where this central "lounge" for energy is located? Is this information along with all of
our past dreams located within our subconscious? Could we be organisms that are directly linked to the entire universe, right behind our nose, and not
even know it?
