heard of them, yes. heard them, no.

and dream land, ska is music that is kinda like...uhh its hard to explain. but it has diffrent kinds of instruments other then what a regular band has exc. trumpets.
and the guitar is mostly up strummed so it has a lighter sound. if you can, download a song called blind from the planet smashers. its pretty good. and a song called numb from streetlight manifesto, also good.

^Great song!

Hell yeah, I love ska. Reel Big Fish, Less Than Jake, Mealticket, The Mudsharks.

For those who don't know, ska is kinda like reggae only, more upbeat. Actually, The Wailers started out as a Ska band, back when Peter Tosh was still Peter Macintosh.

I used to go to ska shows all the time in high school. I can't believe no one has mentioned the toasters! I saw them so many times. Its a shame that moon ska records shut down when the ska trend left.

Oh yeah, drunk, anal cvnt rules my favorite songs are 311 sucks, you live on a house boat and technology is gay.

Reggae??? I never tought ska sounded like reggae.

To me, it sounds like a mix of punk with some jazz/blues.

Actually, Bob Marley and tha Wailers used to be a ska band. Back in the early 60s, when they were The Wailing Wailers. Then they eventually evolved in to a reggae band. The Bob Marley song "Easy Skankin'" is a slow ska song. You've probably heard that one. I don't know which was around first, Ska or Reggae, but I know one came from the other.
