In the last six months, three severed right feet have been found in the island chain west of British Columbia.

The first two were found within the span of a week and were the same size.

Two right feet, both in men's size 12 sneakers, have turned up in the span of one week on two different islands in the Strait of Georgia.

RCMP on Gabriola Island confirmed finding a men's white and black right-footed Reebok trainer on Aug. 26, only about a week after police discovered a large white and blue right-footed "Campus" runner on nearby Jedidiah Island.

Second right foot found, this time on Gabriola

Today, I see this story:

The foot was found Friday on Valdes Island, a tiny community in the straight between the mainland and Vancouver Island that is only accessible by private boat or float plane. RCMP from nearby Gabriola Island are investigating, and Vancouver RCMP were expected to release more information later Thursday afternoon.

Third severed foot washes up on B.C. islands

This is bizarre! Where are all these right feet coming from?

I suppose they could be washing up in the same area because of currents, but why always the right foot and why within such a short time?

I'd like to offer my deepest sympathies on the loss of your husband.

Thanks for posting the video. I don't normally watch CHEK because I'm on the mainland, so I hadn't connected the two incidents. I hope the families can get an answer on if these are their loved ones remains soon.

I've had some experience with WCB and they are terrible. God forbid they hire people who actually care.

Thank you very much Duzey ... sounds like you went a little farther than just watching the news vid - your interest and sympathies are appreciated.

Yeah, sometimes I can be a little nosy.

Transport Canada/WCB fatality investigations are of interest to me. WCB can be appallingly insensitive, depending on the investigator. TC takes forever to close an investigation, so nobody gets any peace.
