One that I haven't seen mentioned was
The Serpent and the Rainbow. That movie kicked ##s! I was also going to say Wild Orchid with Mickey Rourke, but that was released in 1990, so missed the cut off for 80's movies.
Thanx for the link to that 80's movie site, brings back some good memories...

P.S. Every girl loves Xanadu, that movie had an awesome sound track by ELO...wow, I'm dating myself now.
Ok, looked over that site, and Reanimator and Basketcase were good horror flicks in their time.
