An old myth is saying that woman and man once was one, then the gods got mad and separated us to what we are today.

That was at least what my old girlfriend told me and i really liked the story since it so much reminded me of how much i wanted to be one with her at that time.

Sex is a wonderful thing and you don´t have to be married or have paper on your partner to think its a beautiful experience.

I live in Denmark, my country was the first in the world to "free" porn and i admit that porn brought in a lot of shady business etc. but never the less we got dragged out of our puritanic old fashioned and outdated thinking and it brought us into the new millenium of awareness towards eachother.

Kudo´s to thread starter for this one, and for the sexual liberated people here and around the world.

I don't know, supposing the problem of STDs etc were eliminated somehow, and the world were turned into a giant sexual free-for-all as in the OP.... what would happen to the family? How would any men even know who their kids are???

Whereas I agree with some of the Euro ideal of sex openness. I think too much of anything, as such will ruin the sacred part of what it was... the sacred alluring beauty of a covered body. Once you expose the skin, the mystery is gone.
Where America may lack in openness, the net seems to make up for it with scantly clad postings of people on places like Myspace.
Not to mention, as the dating world has change, courtship almost gone and replaced casual sex and some daitng, some men are already confused how many children they may have in the world. I see socially we are already almost there on liberated sex ideals, it's just not talked about as much. Plus the 60s demonstrated that. but with the std problems and other consequences, makes it much harder for the freedom of it.

Those are dangerous waters you are treading on. You have sex with someone once, maybe you'll want to do it again, and then maybe you start to have feelings for that person or get to know them... That is why couples and three sums just don't work out. Dr.Drew said...

I learn many things from loveline.... [Harvey Birdman]*sigh*[/Harvey Birdman]

Edit: Weren't there giant man-orgies in the old days of Rome?

Hey, while we're going for sex-on-the-go while don't we just add that, and maybe a little blood orgy too.

That's a strange thought, "Could I have a uh... Italian broad, with fries please?"

I personally think that there is a vast difference between loving sex and sex just for fun. They are both great in their own rights, with loving sex maybe a little more fulfilling.

I don't think you can overdo sex to the extent that it would ruin sex with a future love.

But I equate sex to music, its rhythmic and life doesn't make any sense without it. And I think people who think of it too sacredly might be missing out. Not to say that you should go randomly after people on the street.
