I recently started using Firefox more and IE less, and have been generally satisfied with it. But today I was poking around Tools/Security, and was
flabbergasted to see that there was a button labeled "Show Passwords".
Passwords are only stored there if you ask the browser to save your passwords.
It's a convenience for many sites that aren't that important but you still need to log-in.
For best security you keep your passwords in your head. Also, Firefox won't allow you to save a password for an encrypted site such as your banking
log-in, at least mine won't.
