* "Imagination is the eye of the soul."
Joseph Joubert (1754-1824), French philosopher.

* "Only in men's imagination does every truth find an effective and undeniable existence. Imagination, not invention, is the supreme master of art as of life."
Joseph Conrad (1857-1924), Polish-born English novelist. A Personal Record, chapter 1 (1912).

* "I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world."
Albert Einstein (1879-1955), German mathematician and physicist.

* "No amount of skillful invention can replace the essential element of imagination."
Edward Hopper (1882-1967), American painter.

* "Man consists of body, mind and imagination. His body is faulty, his mind untrustworthy, but his imagination has made him remarkable."
John Masefield (1874-1967), English writer.

* "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams."
Eleanor Roosevelt (1884-1962) American diplomat, writer, and First Lady of the United States from 1933-45.

* "For us artists there waits the joyous compromise through art, with all that has wounded or defeated us in daily life . . . not to evade destiny, as the ordinary people try to do, but to fulfil it in its true potential — the imagination."
Lawrence Durrell (1912-1990), Indian-born English writer.

* "We must teach our children to dream with their eyes wide open."
Harry Edwards, contemporary American authority on issues of race and sports. He formed San Jose State University's first black student organization, instigated the famous demonstration at the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City in which two African-American medallists raised gloved fists in symbolic gesture of the struggle for black power and equality, is now a professor of sociology at U.C. Berkeley and a consultant for various athletes on issues of racial diversity within professional sports.

* "I used my imagination . . . to make the grass whatever color I wanted it to be."
Whoopi Goldberg, contemporary American comedian.

Well once again I believe I have thought about this topic way too much. Here's some of the different things that crossed my mind during my brainstorm.

Imagine,

In my world it will still rain on the day I planned to go to the beach. In my world that stray golf ball will still break my window. In my world we will always run out of my favorite chips before the dip is half-gone. In my world my favorite team would still suffer that great upset defeat. In my world after the party that went so well I will still be left with a giant mess to clean. In my world the beautiful girl would still turn me down at my invitation to dinner. In my world I may still not have a "better half" to spend my Valentine's Day with. In my world my dad is still dead.

So I have to say that as grand as my world is, it is far from perfect. Among the flying cars and non-polluting free energy there is still the probability for certain upsets. When I consider these happenings it leads me to believe that these probabilities are not only welcome, but needed. Imagine how boring it would be if everything was so "perfect" that things never went wrong, or the thought of never hearing the word no. All these things make me believe that the idea of "perfect" is a human concept, and as long as we remain simply human then we are trapped between the flawed and the flawless.

(Raising my glass in a toast to all of you)
Here's to helping everyone and myself to become more than just simply human. Let's try to make life the best we can make it. Even if it's not perfect I believe we can evolve this humanity into something better, much better.

You must of had some brainstorm. See the world may not be perfect, but people like you and me strive to make it better. As long as there is people like this in the world, i know we have a chance.

Mine would be a World run by the people, for the people.

Services traded with each other. Peaceful and beautiful.

Run by the people, For the people

If there ever was a motto in my created world, that would have to be it it.

This is a fantasy view of my world.

This is using my wildest imagination but If I could live in any world i wanted it would have to be the Final Fantasy world. All the environments, building, people its like a real world you can interact with. Whenever I play the game I want to live there I want to go to different areas and look at the transport and talk with people.

Mr motto would be: For the greater good this land will be defended from the evils that exist.

Lindblum would have to be my first choice, allthough having a walking talking hippo as a friend would be "different" say the least

Yes having to live in final fantasy would be Surreal. If i would live in a video game, it would have to be Mass Effect. That has to be one of the Greatest RPG's. Also i would have talking animals in my world. Wouldn't that be awesome to talk to your cat or dog. It would not matter if you are alienated by humans, you would still have your furry Critters.

DREAMER
Gazing through the window at the world outside
Wondering if mother earth will survive
Hoping that mankind will stop abusing her, sometime

After all theres just the two of us
And here we are still fighting for our lives
Watching all of history repeat itself, time after time

Im just a dreamer, I dream my life away
Im just a dreamer, who dreams of better days

I watch the sun go down like everyone of us
Im hoping that the dawn will bring a sign
A better place for those who will come after us this time

Im just a dreamer, I dream my life away, oh yeah
Im just a dreamer, who dreams of better days

Your higher power may be God or jesus christ
It doesnt really matter much to me
Without each others help there aint no hope for us
Im living in a dream, a fantasy
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah

If only we could just find serenity
It would be nice if we could live as one
When will all this anger, hate and bigotry be gone?

Im just a dreamer, I dream my life away, today
Im just a dreamer, who dreams of better days, ok
Im just a dreamer, whos searching for the way, today
Im just a dreamer, dreaming my life away
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah
