Why just why?

With all the problems the U.S. has foreign and domestic, why is congress tied up with baseball and football?

The NFL and MLB are both PRIVATE corps what busisness does congress have with these entities?(other than antitrust)

because it takes peoples eyes off the BS that is going on. Alot of people put sports above politics in the importance list, sad, but a pretty good reason why this country is going down so fast. Sports, hollywood idiots, it is all to distract, personally it makes me ill to hear about britney, or the other fools, but alot of people eat that crap up. As a taxpayer it really pisses me off that they waste money on it, but that use that factor of showing the kids it is wrong. Who is going to argue that the kids dont need to know the dangers, are you? If you do, you are disgusting, awful person for not buying into the bs stories they put forth.
