No doubt man, Africa is always left out. The Americans say they are in Iraq to help and rebuild a destroyed society, If that were true(which it is not, they are there for the oil) wouldn't they want to help rebuild a Continent that really needs it like AFRICA!?!?!?!?

No one will really "help" africa, it wont happen....

South africa might be considered the "America" of Africa, but at the rate all us white people are leaving south africa and taking our work expertize with us, it's not much longer till s.a is no better off than zimbabwe...

I am out of here in a few months, so good luck to all who stay behind...

im off to a better land

Canada is way too cold dude, and i think your immigration laws are way tougher than australia at the moment, i scored 100 on the australian skilled migrant visa test, which is a good and clear pass and i failed the canadian and australian one, and my profession is also listed on the skills shortage list over there, so it's just a much easier country for me to get into...and it's warm

Indeed it is. I think are immigration laws are like that because of our idiot neighbors. You know who.

yea, the Canadian government is basically run by the states. Our economy iss so dependent on them it is just sad. Especially since we have everything we need to be our own country. Nova Scotia - Fish. B.C. - Wood. Saskatchewan - most farms anywhere. Ontario - Industrial Capital of canada. Quebec - well they make good syrup

Well i understand what you mean by your economy being dependent on the US, but then again so is much of the world,,,the US economy takes a hit, the world takes a hit,,,so it goes...

but besides that, i heard Australia is just as much under the influence of the US government, and they work very close together apparently, they even have a joint run secret base in the middle of pine gap desert...

Well, good luck sethdarke. I, for one, am staying in my beloved country. There may be many things wrong with it but there are also very many things right. I lived in Europe for about a year (Holland and UK) and was ever so glad to come back to SA. The grass is not always greener on the other side.

Well i respect your choice and how u feel..

But i've thought about this long and hard, and this is my choice, i've been in the UK for 2 years, was the best 2 years of my life, been to Norway, awesome place, paris, hated it hehe, thailand, wouldnt mind living there...

But my main reason for moving to Australia, besides the crime in south africa, is the great living standards available to me there..

With the same job I have now ( where I can't even afford a decent car or apartment ) I can in australia get myself a 3 bedroom apartment in st kilda, i have allready decided on getting the new Ford Mustang GT 500...and lots of holidays in thailand...

why ? because of the great australian living standards..

there is no comparison, why should i at 25 be only able to afford the most basic crap, when in australia i can live my life with the best available ?
