Background Information / Description:
This photograph was taken by an airline pilot while flying over Pisco, Peru, who saw the objects along with 5 other witnesses. The pilot submitted the following report:
"While flying abeam Pisco, Peru, we noticed 3 very bright large objects. They were not moving much. They passed by us at a distance of 20-30 miles at approximately 20,000 ft. We were at 31,000. There were 4 crewmembers on our B767-300ER. All noticed it. There also was a Mexicana Airliner overhead that noticed the objects as well. [The objects] were too large to be ships. They were over the ocean. And very bright. We called the local air traffic controllers in Lima and they did not see them on radar."
The pilot is aged 33, and rated to fly B737, B757, and B767 aircraft.

On a serios note, Has there ever been a logical explanation as to why no other country has bucked the trend and given the world info or proof on these sightings. I find it hard to believe that nothing would have ever leaked showing verifiable proof.

And here's another one. A UFO caught on KGB film from MIG filming an F-16.
Cheers!

Last year, on September 5, 2003, while at the Goodwood Revival Festival,
Anderson captured on tape a very unusual incident during the aircraft display. Suddenly, from out of nowhere, an unknown flying object with a strange shape and flight characteristics flew right in front of two airplanes causing immediate worry and a dangerous risk of collision.
SIMON : " I made a discovery in the sky when filming the Goodwood festival and old aircraft display.
Just two old aircraft were flying; facing north-south when filming.
A fast object shot past the aircraft I was very amazed then trying to keep
filming as it went up into the clouds.
Then it went off to the south towards Portsmouth. I am interested in aircraft filming them for years at displays but never seen this thing before. "
Simon, a 29 years old from West Sussex was filming the event with a JVC Hi-8 PAL camcorder . The time was 1:35 PM and the sky was clear. After several days Simon contacted me asking for advice and sent me a VHS copy of the footage.
I must say that I got impressed by the images and the unique moment when two airplanes confronted a disc shape object in a maneuver that may have resulted in a dangerous risk of collision.
The quality of the footage is crystal clear with zooms to both the aircrafts and the UFO. The first images present two old war airplanes, one british and one american flying in formation and making a turn from left to right. Simon kept filming the airplanes and a few seconds later a strange unknown brownish object, round in shape appeared in the scene passing by from right to left close to the airplanes at certain moderated speed.
Something is going on in the skies that we do not understand. If all the airline pilots and Air Force pilots who have seen UFOs and sometimes chased them have been the victims of hallucinations, then an awful lot of pilots should be take off and forbidden to fly.

Great thread Mike
I'm sure it's been posted on here somewhere but some
excellent evidence was provided by these mexican air force pilots :
"summary: Mexican Air Force pilots filmed 11 unidentified flying objects in the skies over southern Campeche state in Mexico...

Kaikoura, New Zealand 1978
An extremely rare case of a plane flight for the express purpose of filming a UFO occurred on December 30, 1978, in New Zealand. Captain Bill Startup piloted an Argogy freighter, with Bob Guard as co-pilot. An Australian television film crew from Channel 0-10 would be assigned the unusual task of attempting to capture a photographic image of a UFO.

UFO - Kaikoura, New Zealand, December, 1978
• The first sighting began on December 21 when the crew of a cargo plane noticed a series of lights that tracked along with their aircraft for several minutes and then disappear, only to appear some where else.
• The pilots describe some of the objects of the size of a house and the others small but brilliant flashing lights.
• These objects appeared on the air traffic controller radar in Wellington and also on the radar in the on board the aircraft. The objects were also seen by hundreds of people on the ground.
• On December 30, 1978, a television crew from Australia got permission to shoot some background film for a network show on interviews about the sightings.
• Only minutes after their the cargo aircraft left Wellington for Christchurch, the whole event began again, as though the UFOs had been waiting for the camera.
• For many minutes at a time on the way to Christchurch, the unidentified objects were simultaneously watched by five observers on the flight deck, tracked by Wellington Air Traffic Controllers, and filmed in color by the television crew.
• One of the object followed the cargo aircraft almost until landing. The cargo plane then took off again with the television crew still on board, this time for Blenheim.
• When the aircraft reached about 2000 feet, it encountered a gigantic lighted orb, which fell into station off the wing tip and tracked along with the cargo aircraft for almost quarter of an hour, while being filmed, watched, tracked on the aircraft radar and described on a tape recording made by the TV film crew.
• Following the sightings, the Royal New Zealand Air Force, the police and the Centre Observatory in Wellington cooperated in an investigation, the results of which were stamped Top Secret and lodged in the National Archives in Wellington.
Following the sightings, the Royal New Zealand Air Force, the police and the Centre Observatory in Wellington cooperated in an investigation, the results of which were stamped Top Secret and lodged in the National Archives in Wellington. The New Zealand Ministry of Defence attributed the sightings to lights from squid boats reflected off clouds, unburned meteors, or lights from the planet Venus or trains and cars. In the United States, investigating scientists are still extracting a wealth of detailed information from that film, which one of them has described as being comparable in scientific interest to the rocks brought back from the moon.
NEW ZEALAND RADAR SIGHTING: Some of the most technically interesting sightings are those in which radar plays a role. There are many "radar only" sightings (no coincident visual sightings). Of greater interest are the radar-visual cases in which (a) witness(es) report on object in the same direction and undergoing the same dynamics as a radar target. In this paper I discuss a radar-only case and also the only RADAR-VISUAL AND PHOTOGRAPHIC case that I know of, namely the New Zealand sightings of 1978.
1. - UFO & Jet Airliner - I received an email from my friend who told me in his letter that he caught an amazing unknown object on film and he wanted to send me a copy of the footage he took. Of course I said I would love to see the tape, so he parceled it up and sent it along. I received the video tape in the postal mail on Saturday, May 29, 2004. I brought it home and popped the tape into my VCR, sat back to see what the gentleman had captured on May 15, at 4:46 p.m. As the tape
started to play I saw a passenger Jet Airliner traveling across the sky leaving it's contrail following behind. All of a sudden from high above I was able to clearly see a white or a shiny object. The object started to move downwards at an incredible rate of speed and when it reached just above the Jets contrail it came to a brief and complete stop. The object then either passed through the Jets contrail or on the opposite side away from the cameraman still continuing it's journey downward. The object again stops on a dime, keeping in mind that when this object moves it is traveling extremely fast. After this brief stop the object moves towards the back of the Jet, moving diagonally on it's flight path and once again at a distance from the jet it stops briefly and then starts it's flight back up through the contrail and traveling to a great altitude.
2. - Disc Shaped Craft - Taped for 7-10 minutes. The same witness captured what appears to be the same object on May 17, 2004 at 4:27 p.m. and ends up filming the object for approx; 7 to 10 minutes.
3. - Strange Aircraft All Lit Up. - On May 18, 2004 at 10:54 p.m. the same
witness captured on video what appears to be an aircraft of some kind. Not a UFO, but a normal aircraft. What is rather strange about it is the number of lights that is on the plane. There are lights all over the plane.

About the third video i have some doubts, but i think it's this one:
Cylindrical Object Hovering Over Sonora - May 18, 2004 (?) (right click & select "save target as")
Video description:
This unusual object was filmed as it slowly moved eastward. At first, it
looked to be an airplane until the cameraman noticed there were no wings and the object was moving so slowly, it looked to be holding still.
Please, correct me if i'm wrong
