I think for me I would want to know how many other species are out there in the universe. Its gotta be HUGE

Without a reason for being they would not have been created by anyone.

They must be given a sedative or some form of technology we are not accustomed to. Strange,still have doubts over alien abductions, would like to see close microscopic magnification of any foreign material that has been implanted in these abductees. Have a look at this

Can you cure Aids or Cancer?

I ask him if I could borrow a space ship to jump out of here if 2012 ends up being doomsday.

I'm not quite sure if we are supposed to find our answers ourselves or not, but that premise only holds true if there is a law in our universe for that. If there is such a law, there is propably a God in existence.

Anyway, I would try to ask my question in such a way that they would be forced to actually expain it to me as well. Its sometimes hard to make a question in such an explicit way, but lets try nevertheless.

In what way your species got an answer that there is a God?

If they have none, they must answer no, and if the answer is yes, they will have to explain the experiment in detail :-)

Now THAT would be an answer worth having. The answer would propably tell us quite a lot about physics as well..

However, if I had to ask, it would be along the lines of;

"Have you been interacting with us for long, in respect and with reference to certain legends and myths of 'heavenly' visitors from our past, and the influence these visitors have had on our cultural developement? "

If I was to meet a 'grey' and had only one opportunity to ask a question: I wouldn't know where to start. But probably, I'd ask: Are you able to quantify human emotions, like love? No, wait! Gee! How about does consciousness exist for your kinds? Oh, this is difficult!

Er..., Can I see your passport sir/madam/other?
