Summoning a UFO, or at least trying to.

Well it is now 6:34 pm, and the song has been sung. Well it was sung about an hour and a half ago. As I suspected there is/was no activity. Mom says that the lyrics are not complete though. The site I got the lyrics from seems to say the same thing...

However I have no intention of dragging this out. I will leave my cameras up until 8pm just in case. And if I ever get the "rest" of the song I will try again. Hey on the bright side, if any more UFO's appear over southern California, we will have some good video of them Well at least if any appear tonight before 8pm pst.

I have to say your post is confusing me. But perhaps I am trying to put something in to it that was not there in the first place. Perhaps you could elaborate on what your meaning was?

I was not aware that the Earth needed evacuation for "they" to come. Of course I'm not too sure whom "they" are.

While building things seems to be a positive past time, I would not recommend using drugs, of course it is not my place to tell others how to live their lives.

i am glad you tried this and put the effort into video recording the event if anything did happen. you are open-minded enough to objectively think that it could be possible, that aliens could be summoned with that certain song. this is how we should be, open-minded and willing to try whatever, while being prepared if anything did happen.

Thank you! I have seen "stuff" in the past that opens my mind up to these types of "things" (sorry stuff and things are the best descriptions I can come up with at the moment)

Furthermore, my mother is not one to tell such grandiose prevarications (hah! hows that for descriptions!) So I was not quick to dismiss this. However, I do have some rationality, and while I do believe that "something" happened to her. Whether or not it is "real" is in the eye of the beholder at this point.

Maybe when I get around to it I will hunt for that record at my uncles. I will still do the occasional search for a "complete" version of the lyrics. But, unless something changes it is not at the top of my list anymore.

Thank you again for the hats off! And if the topics sprout up I will comment more on my other experiences (be forewarned there are not many of them).

Leave the cameras at home and take your mom out to a secluded rural area and try again. You didn’t really think you could trick them into being photographed did you? If the story is true the song it self has no magic powers over the aliens only something your mother could use in a time of need. Your motive would be far more important than chanting the words of a song.

Actually I did have her sing it again after the equipment had been put away. And that is the reason I did it. In case "they" knew I was trying to film "them". I was thinking of having her go to my uncle's house (which is where they all grew up, and the same house the event happened at)

We are usually invited over there on Saturdays for BBQ's, so I will give it a go on the next invite. Of course I will browse around for the record while I am there

I agree with tommyknockers. Your mom has to sing the song, and if they do return as she sings it, they will create an electromagnetic disturbance to render your video equipment useless.

She remembers that "they" implied that the song would be how to instigate further contact with "them". Otherwise I would not have bothered in hunting down the lyrics in the first place.

May I ask how you are certain that this will happen? And if that was the case, then tommyknockers observation would be irrelevant, because "they" would just make my cameras useless.

As for current contact, no. That was the one and only time (that she knows of).

to the op. its a research topic here in ats that infrared exposes objects up in the sky that cant be seen with the naked eye. have you tried an infrared filter?

Unfortunately no, I do not have an infrared filter. While I have some nice equipment, nothing like that (yet ). Additionally, is it a filter that does the infrared? I always assumed it was an alternative mode of recording.

**Note** I am a videographer, however I do not know all of the intricacies involved in video cameras. Of course I do not just point and shoot either

Talked with mom, and I am going to take her out for some dinner, I will have her sing the song again afterwards. However there will not be any cameras this time, aside from the crummy cell phone camera I have (yuck). Still I doubt it will matter much. If you are in southern California, look towards the Brea/Fullerton area of the skies around 6:30pm (approx) least if something happens a witness or two would be nice.

Well it was unsuccessful yet again, of course it is overcast so maybe "they" came but could not be seen. I would doubt it though. Looks like "they" don't do requests anymore

The comment he made was a joke. As for all of the ice leaving the planet, I can't say I have heard/read about that. And now that I think about it, does that mean all freezers will be broken by 2012? Because mine happens to have an ice maker. Not to mention what happens when it rains in an area that is at or below 32F.

Either way, I for one look forward to 2012. Seems that many questions will be answered at least. Of course by answered I mean, either something will or will not happen.

As for me, I tend to look at the short term, considering that an average lifespan of a human is just that.

...That's the part of what he said that I was expressing agreement with. As far as my other comment goes, perhaps I shouldn't have said it with such "authority", but going by existing stories of close encounters, it seems that cameras are usually made to malfunction in the presence of ETs. I believe this is the reason that the only pics and video we have of them are of dead or tortured and mentally/physically broken EBEs in custody in some lead-lined chamber, probably 50 miles underground. And from the poorly reproduced quality of this material, it's hard to tell if the cameras were even functioning properly when they were filmed.

I don't have a specific source for this info - sorry - but I have spent the better part of the last 25 years doing what I would describe as a bit more than casual research on the subject.

And this is not to say that I don't support your experiment. If your mom is willing to give it a go, I'm very interested in hearing about what does or doesn't happen, whether you get your pics or not. I'll be surprised if you're able to get proof of any kind but then, that would be putting it mildly; "surprised" would just not be quite the word.

I'm also interested in any other experiences that you or your mom have had, to me these stories are little puzzle pieces and as such, they bring the bigger picture more into view.

Obviously I'm late here, you already did your experiment. I just wanted to add that your mother's mindset and intentions are going to be major factors, if any actual contact is to come out of this. Also, I think that expecting immediate results might be a mistake. Talk to her tomorrow - if she dreams tonight it could be more than just a regular dream. I would suggest to her that she meditate and try to consciously make herself receptive to anything out of the ordinary.

Ah! I understand now, I thought there had been some type of documented electromagnetic fields around "encounters". Thank you for clearing up your meaning.

Well let me give her a call so I can get her side of what we saw, and upon further reflection it can be posted in this topic. This will be made clear when I return with the other experiences.

Lastly, to everyone else who responds. In my responses to your posts, I am in no way being hostile or condescending (or any other negative "vibe"). I try to be as honest as possible, and if I ask a question that is all it is, a question. Now I will make puns, and sorry attempts at humor, but that is a different story altogether
