personal prediction for the near future (2008-2012):

the number of people who question the integrity of the official 9-11 report will continue to increase at an alarming rate due to the accessibility of knowledge on the internet. as a result the measures that the secret government will take to suppress this information will also increase. dissension will become illegal and subjective "fact" will be hard-pressed on the general public. anybody who disagrees with the status quo will be taken into custody and be called a psychological terrorist. as families and circles of friends become broken up and loved ones begin to dissapear, there will result an inevitable backlash from the populous. at first people will ignore the signs because it won't hit them close enough to home and they'll think, "as long as it doesn't affect me," but eventually violence will erupt and martial law will be put in place. in the midst of all this chaos a shining savior figure will emerge and be subject to immense media coverage. he will represent salvation for the people but really he will be used as a tool to further enslave the population into passive obedience. another person will also make an appearance in the media. unlike the former, he will be scrutinized and made to appear as a terrorist anti-christ, but really he will be the one for freedom. people will choose sides according to their personal beliefs: those who believe in the public propaganda vs those who seek knowledge for themselves. as the situation continues to spiral out of "control," international outrage will ensue and a 3rd world war will begin. it will be the likes of none which we have ever witnessed. our world will be torn apart and millions will die, but the highest-of-the-high world leaders will probably evacuate earth to neighboring solar bodies leaving the rest of the world behind to deal with a post apocalyptic nuclear-winter earth.

or maybe, hopefully, the illuminati will be like "just kidding guys! we decided to share our wealth with everybody!" and we can all live happily ever after.

That's just it! People believe the illusion that they are being kept from "wealth" and that it is what is keeping them from their "happyness". However this couldn't be more untruthful. It's that state of mind that that keeps those people under that illusion supressed.

by wealth i mean not just money. i mean technology, happiness, equality, knowledge, truth, opportunity etc etc... though wealth is equated to money too often.

There will be no 'just kidding,' ever. The elite are in a race to the top - whoever gets to the top gets all, leaving nothing for the common folk.

They are first and foremost in a race for one government. The elite will rule all.

They are in a race for immortality. They obtained their funding for reaserch by exploiting everyone's desire to live forever. Once they acheive the technology, they'll take it and run with it.

They are counting on unsustainable population growth. The bigger the anthill gets, the more likely it is that it'll be kicked over.

They are in a race to be able to leave the planet whenever they want. Once they have the technology, they will surely leave with it.

The government is spending money like there's no tomorrow, and as far as they're concerned, tomorrows are overrated anyway. They live for today - to see what they can have now. Living like that, you don't have to worry about the future.

Survival of the fittest is the same at the top as it is at the bottom, and they prefer you stay at the bottom.
