I had a vision of the future today!

Once in a while I have futuristic visions in my dreams. I can tell the difference between a dream and a vision. A vision is more clear, has more impact on you and is seen from a realistic point of view. Meaning that it has solidity, validity and content like no dream. Just wanted to clear up that it was part of the dream, but a vision of the future.
So, last night, early today I travelled into the future and saw something. Don't know what it means, could mean nothing at all to you or it could mean much to others. I could not tell what year it was, but it had to be the future, not the past. what I saw might shock many of you, while others may laugh.

it was a flying pepsi bottle. it was very high up in the sky at night. It looked like a blimp type bottle, but it was not shaped like a blimp. it had the countour of a soda bottle. Yet it was distinct for a reason. it had plasma technology all around and it was advertising many products. it had the PEPSI logo to the bottom and other square digital banners around it, but it was all 360 around the perimeter. I found it kinda weird to see a flying soda bottle, it was very large, about the size of a blimp, but much larger. it was like seeing a large 360 television wrapped around the bottle. it was moving slowly but it seemed to be up very high. I could not tell much from the city.

I know it makes no sense, but that's what I saw. it would be interesting to see something like this in the future, maybe it's part of the advertising industry to have flying pepsi bottles up at night. who knows. just wanted to share this with you guys and see what your thoughts were.

Even with your explanation of why you think this was a vision instead of a dream, you were sleeping. I have never heard of a person having a vision in a dream. Maybe a precognitive dream, but no visions.

You asked for opinions, so here is mine. I think you watched too many super bowl commercials!

Dude, it was a dream. Dream's aren't visions of the future.

If dreams were a vision of the future we'd being having a weird future ahead of us.

A sort of vivide dreams can contain elements you might meet in the future. I know it because I experienced this myself. So you shouldn't exclude this possibility right ahead.

An advertiseing high up in the sky? I hope that is not happening.
Don't like spam in the sky.

I know however about mobilephone station platforms/blimbs that are planed to place stationary high in the air. But I think a little too high up for this.
So might be a simple bottle form ballon for an event maybe.
Or just a dream.

You guys have obviously no clue of what dreaming really is and what it isn't. The more aware you become of your consciousness functioning on different levels then you will understand how your mind and vision really work. You are dreaming right now at other levels. There is part of your mind that is constantly dreaming you are just not engaging your full brainwave spectrum and are focused in such a narrow way that you are unconscious of many things that are happening elsewhere. Dreaming is not this "thing" that happens. Dreaming is simply when you have allowed yourself to relax enough to begin to widen your conscious awareness to other levels instead of your normal I wake up and engage a habitiual narrow focus of attention. When you relax you can begin to have a multidimensional awareness which is what your mind is really all about. you can have visions and experiences at different places, times, etc. To understand dreaming you have to understand TIME. what TIME is. and to understand TIME you need to understand what it is to be aware or to perceive to be conscious at some level. Unfortunately many folks do not understand that when they are relaxed and engaging more of their awwareness when "dreaming" they are actually living much more naturally and full than when they are awake. How things really are and how they really are is much more true in "dreaming" state.

I've had dreams that took place in the future before. Most of them only about 5 years into the future. during the 80's I had dreams of situations in my family that would come true. for example, I once dreamed of my wife doing certain things, and then later in the year it would happen. And I wouldn't get scared, but I found it really cool. at other times I would dream of just random things in the news and that would occur. not exactly, but in a morphed way. and I agree with azhAa. I think that sometimes, during certain dreams we can enter the time and space line and actually cruise in time. the brainwave spectrum and such.

most recently, in the past 5 years I had another futuristic vision and that has not happened yet. I see my wife knocking on my door, she comes to the door with her daughter and she wants to come in and talk to me. this still hasn't happened but I know it will. it's not a personal wish, it's just something I know it's going to happen. you know? it's like you know this is going to happen. like a gut feeling.

about the pepsi bottle in the sky. it could be categorized as a UFO. it looked like one, but it clearly was an advertising form of airship shaped like a bottle. to entralled fan. you could be right, it could also just be a dream. but it could also be a vision. and I think it was a vision of the future. did any of you ever had dreams or visions of the future?

Oh absolutely neformore! I saw the final cut at the theaters couple of months ago. then on dvd about a month ago? do you think this could be a subliminal dream then based on that movie? in that film we do see something like that, the flying blimp with the japanese lady and lots of advertising all around. I suppose, it could have been a dream, see, now i'm not so sure!

It was the first thing that sprang into my mind when I saw your post.

I'm fairly convinced theres at least one shot of a pepsi bottle style blimp in the film, unless my semi-photographic brain is failing me.

Tep, I know what you mean. yes, most of my threads deal with the sience fiction side of things...somewhat. but what's to say UFO's, Aliens and Ghosts are not just that. Sci-fi. on that note. no need to fight.

but just seeing that flying bottle up in the air, and looking so real. like a lucid dream..i knew it was a vision of the future. of course, I never said you guys would believe me.

it's a pepsi bottle blimp they used in a game. but far from what I saw. the one I saw had a 360 digital image and many different blocks all around. and it was large. like I described it at first.

Hmm plasma technology you say? The aliens are going to tell us soon how to create a plasma (or ion) engine? Sweet!

hmm...i think i've read like 2 other threads that talk about dreams or visions of plasma advertisments flashing on buildings and stuff. so i think you got something there.
