I think you see it more through your third eye, that part of your mind that visualises things. Third eye... I have vision, I can see things, but if I
close my mind, and imagine things, it like vision, buts its not. I can see the auras with my mind. It seems like the 3rd eye is what tells me what
it is. I can look at a red book or something..and I dont need much interpretation there.. its just red and I dont think of it.. When I look at aura..
I see with my eyes, and I'm asking my mind what I'm seeing. I'm thinking, whats there...red...blue.... as I try focusing my eyes and unfocusing,
looking at different parts of my body etc and depending on my state of mind/focus at the time, I see subtle colour, and feel that it is that colour.
Sometimes I can see it, sometimes I can't, it depends on my state of mind.. like if I was just meditating, then I'll see it for sure.
Really, more then anything it comes from UNDERSTANDING.. You have to learn about energy, understand its nature, and understand the big illusion. The
more you learn, just about reading about it, thinking about it, the broader your perception and you'll begin to notice things you never thought were
there.
I've been meditating for a year, not even seriously.. but I still pretty much every to every other day for this year and a lot during the 2 years
before... researched this kind of stuff.. thought about it, discussed it, tried to understand it. And eventually, EVENTUALLY.. I began to notice
certain things. It just takes patience.
I also have this theory that you can see it a lot easier if you haven't slept for a long time. I find thats when your eyes start to get blurry..maybe
your peripheral kicks in more.. I sware its after being awake 20 hours that I think I'm seeing ghosts and whisps of energy and lots of other stuff.
But then I thought... maybe I'm just tired and i'm losing my vision, and my mind.
I think its like this... I was talking to my room-mate about this theory... you notice how you feel more like yourself later on in the day,.. more
confident? You feel like a new person in the morning, like its a new life, but you struggle to get yourself together. Its in the afternoon that we
start to feel like ourselves, confident.. thats when we go out and socialise and be ourselves. After not sleeping for a while I start to feel more in
control, more in touch with who I am. And my reasoning for this is you get USED to the frequency you're in, in this case.. the waking state, and I
think that is the real reason why your vision starts to "go".. it just starts to adjust to the frequencies, its your mind getting comfortable. I've
been awake for 3 days straight once and I've noticed no difference in eye site after the first day.. it never got any worse.
So... its just a theory.. but I think sleep depravation helps because I honestly believe thats when we begin to adjust to our surroundings more, that
state of mind which is our usual waking state.
People who have been meditating their whole lives.. a lot of them their waking state is more like a dream.. sounds wierd eh? They are in these higher
frequencies of the mind all day which i believe helps them to see aura, and interact with their environment on the energetic level. I believe this to
be why the experienced meditators look kind of "spacey". HA.. I am pretty spaced out looking after meditation.
I just wanted to throw this in, while talking about shifting frequencies of mind from waking to dreaming.. you ever notice after even a TEN minute
sleep, that you lose ALL concept of time? Strange. I believe this to be due to the frequency differences, and when you start to get the feel of the
frequency your in again (waking), that you are able to gauge what time it is.
Anyways... ha I dunno, its my theory man.. TRY SLEEP DEPRAVATION. Stay up 20 hours then go look in the mirror and report back to me!
