WOW THIS MOVIE IS INSANE!!!!!!

Old Boy came out in 2003...It's a Korean flick...about revenge in the worst way.

The movie is about a korean man who is locked for 15 years for reasons he doesn't know and he doesn't know who it is.

15 years of imprisonment...5 days of revenge. The ultimate story of revenge.

Some of the themes and stuff in this movie are so over the top and sickening. This movie will make you feel dirty. Filthy. Disgusted.

I loved this movie...no intense gore, one really AWESOME fighting scene and few other ones.

Great flick, one of my favorites.. 4/5..

have you seen Lady Vengance or Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance?

Both by the same director and very good but Oldboy blows them out of the water...that movie is to crazy

though i know a few people that would say sympathy for mr. vengeance is their favorite

I've seen Battle Royale... I love it..a favorite, no question.
I've heard good things from friends about Ichi the Killar but I haven't gotten the oppurtunity to watch it yet.

I agree watched some of those movies, Takeshi miike movies, Old boy, Battle Royal etc. good movies.

If you want to watch a good Hong Kong movie, check out "The Killer", with Chow Yun-Fat. If you like that movie, check out his other movies. But The killer is a personal favourite of mine from his movies.

Oh yeah and to the topic of the weird unique movies like Old boy and ichi the killer, a movie I recommend is called:

"The Audition" Sick movie, will give you nightmares, it starts out like a normal boring movie, but damn! watch it all.

takeshi miike puts out some seriously messed up stuff.

dude, you need to scope ichi the killer. kahkihara is the man in that...you'll see.

Not to mention this flick has one of the best single take action sequences of all time.

I'm not sure if this, or the stair case scene in Ong Bak is better.

Brilliant.

Yea the fight scene that takes place in the hallway/elevator in Old Boy is easily the best fight scene I've seen in a movie..

Without all the special effects of course...
