i haven't checked around on here (or anywhere else) about this yet, having just heard it tonight..(on some trucker show on xm), however it seems it could fit in with this.
it mentioned russian built chinese tanks sitting in the desert somewhere in mexico, and chinese troops on the mexican border.
i definitely plan on trying to find some other source for this, and if it's pretty old news i'll feel a little slow, but..
come on. i'm sure china has some pretty sweet crap we know nothing of. some pretty sweet crap that could destroy us in no time.

Didn't the US say they were doing a training mission? Which would imply that they were testing a new craft themselves to see if current military advances known to be used by other countries can catch this new craft or military plane? There have been many military planes un-released for 20 years or so, but tested from Area 51. Which would suggest to me that the military mission was completely US.
