It really REALLY looks fake but hey it might not be in which case cool. But it looks fake at first glance. Over to the experts I guess.

Here is the writeup.

This thing was spotted mid-day near RT 4 by Jungle Jim's in Fairfield. It was seen by multiple people in the area and was captured by many onlookers I think. People were stopping in the street to look at it. I filmed this using my cellphone camera so its grainy. (sorry I know they are always grainy!) But this thing hovered around then zipped away. It looked like it had tentacles on it or something.

Nyte Angel called it with "something on a string".

You can see the vehicle's window frame to the right of the object. The frame stays exactly in the same location relative to the object. It also moves with a bouncing, swaying motion unique to a suspended pendulum.

Utterly appalling fake. So many things wrong with this. Even the atrocious quality cannot hide the tracking problems. I don't even think this is CG, it's an overlay done on the cheap, then filmed off a monitor with a crappy camera phone. Worst. Fake. Ever.

not to mention the camera man knew EXACTLY where the object was going...it was dead red the whole time, meaning that whoever filmed it knew where is was going to go....or more likely....knew they were going to make it go.

Nothing else but rubbish, it is something on the window of a car. You can see the frame.

Conclusion: HOAX

Any MOD willing to close this thread please?

Actually, I don't think it is fake. I think it is one of the unmanned surveillance drones. At least it looks like the ones they've shown on the discovery channel (and it looks just like the one in Ghost Recon for the Xbox360.)

Obviously a chip in the windshield, bird droppings, or a smashed bug. At first it appears to move slightly because the camera is moving. Once the car starts moving it becomes completely obvious what this is. The sideways flying is simply the result of the car turning a corner.

I'd say [HOAX] but this is in fact an actual dirty window. This UFO mystery could be solved by a car wash or a bottle of Windex and a towel.

Oh, it may be a set up or a transparency overlay on a windshield glass...

but life forms existing in the atmosphere
might be analogous to jellyfish in the ocean,

see this photo of sea based jellyfish against a blue background (faux sky)

(second image down...hey, it's not that big of a task..
and see a possible 'How' the idea was made to pose a jellyfish as a UFO disc)
