Will Africa become as powerful as the US by 2025?

I read a book entitled Futurology: Africa 2025 which claims that by 2025 Africa would have become as powerful as the US, etc, etc, Is that possible?

So a continant that can hardly feed itself, will rival america, come on, whats that geezer talking about. Just look on the news, and you will see countless african countries that cannot even run there societies.

I do not think its possible but who knows, the nutcases running society may do anything.

No, America is one country.

Africa is many countries. Too many local politics involved along with tribal hatred.
