That really does sound like something the sinister logic of the NWO might come up with... destroy a city that represents all cities.

I somewhat feel like nukes are the most predictable and messy way to whipe out the populace. I am more afraid of genetic warfare... I would rather go fast than remain in nuclear fallout or die slowly of a foreign disease.

Well I live in Scottsdale AZ currently, so if PHX gets hit, I'll be bombarded with the worst radiation a nuke has to offer. I'll make sure to come as a mutated beast and destroy those who plot against us.

C'mon people, a nuke in the US this early in the game would throw the country into absolute chaos. There would be no US, it would be the Gov't vs. The Citizens vs. the Militia. That does not bode well for the NWO, especially when there is a lack of sheeple, although they grow in numbers. Not that I don't believe they have strategy, but taking out any of those places except NY would seem incredibly odd, especially since it seems to be the encompassing mirror to our society.

NY or Washington would be where a terrorist would strike, if the NWO would do otherwise, I suspect suspicion.

my personal opinion would be that they would not iniate a nuclear strike. A nuke causes damage to infrastructure which they would need during marshal law. My guess is it would be biological, and if I were to choose 2 cities, I would choose Philidelphia, and Miami. Phili, has a predominantly black population, its ripe with both crime and poverty. Both of which they would want to eliminate as they garner more control. Its on the east coast, the prevailing winds would blow the biological out to see if it was air borne. Phili airport is little used, compared to laguardi or kennedy, or Pittsburgh or buffalo airport. Therefore, there is a lower risk of it spreading via Air to other parts of the country. Additionally, with the advent of a violent plague engulfing philly, they could actually use the opportunity to destroy our nations first capital, with all the symbols that represent american freedom to go with it. A GBU-43/B could be used to destroy parts of the city in order to contain the plague. Same would be the case with my other city, Miami.

Miami has a largely hispanic population, high crime, and high unemployment rate. There are mainly 2-3 ways to get in and out of Miami, I-95 being the main corridor. Like philly, there is a port that could be used to smuggle the biological into the U.S. with.

No then, as far as my choice for a Biological. I would choose Ebola, 99% mortality rate, spread by human contact, quick way to die. VERY PAINFUL and GRUESOME, which would be keys to enacting marshal law, destroying enemies to the NWO etc..

All this talk of Nuking an American city originated were ???? how come an urban myth has become so ingrained in people here on ATS ?.

Besides the real interesting part of this Urban Myth appeals to the Doomsayers and Apocalyptic crowd, perhaps because of some Hiroshima/Nagasaki guilt ? or perhaps the guilt ascosciated with all the DU rounds fired in the middle east in the last 5 years ?

Karma may very well play a part but I would be uber-scared of the response to such a deployment of a nuclear decice on US soil. I would guess any country that was even remotely involved or had relatives of the accused would become a glass parking lot for 50 000 years.

Since there is no NWO, the question is really moot.

WEll looking at the stats I would guess the locations with the lowest Muslim populations, that would be Vermont, Montana or N.Dakota. I used to think that it would be somewhere in the heartland of Us , somewhere like Kansas. But now after a year on ats I have changed my mind. I now think that they would rather not damage the entire country as it would not be prime for a take over for thousands of years. I also do not think that they will hit the west coast as the fallout would ride the prevailing winds and destroy all chances of farming our rich lands across the plains.

Interesting thought, I would say you are close with Mexico. Canada? Not so sure. I felt a weird sensation when after the presidential speech the other night bush was speaking Spanish to some guys off camera, he was animated and saying "Hey Amigo!" And then asking about his friend el presidente... If a nuke did go off there between now and when GB retires, then he could have a great reason to open the flood gates and dictate by his own design.

Now why would you go and give them ideas like this. I do not wish the destruction of any city. There are many fine women found in every major city. A rockin body is a terrible thing to waste.

Seriously, under this new "Homegrown terrorism act", Homegrown Terrorism Actwhich is unfortunatly probably going to pass Senate, threads like this will give Big Brother a reason to haul you off to an unknown remote location and never tell anyone what happened to you. There are some things which should not be said. If NWO has not thought of this before, then you just opened a possible pandora's box.

The reason I think the target will be in America is that we are perceived by the rest of the world as "the evil superpower".

Like one of the posters before me, I think that an economic disaster in conjunction with the droughts going on worldwide makes a lot of sense.
I do feel we're on the verge of some event which will push us into this one world governing state but as to what that event will be is pure speculation for me right now.

Could be a falling satelite: What if the stories the msm have been pushing are total bs and is just a cover up for when someone guides the satelite down to earth and directly into it's designated target.

Lots of possibilities but like the op, I get the feeling that something is in store for us in the near future.

With "hazardous materials" aboard, I doubt it's a spy satellite, but more like some sort of space weapon maybe even with MIRVs on board.

I wonder if the reason it "lost power" was because it was zapped by a russian or chinese weapon?

As far as the city to stage a false flag nuke attack, I see it being more of a lost cause type city like detroit, but then again, i ask myself questions like what would be something good to get rid of in an economic slump.

Are casinos making a lot less money right now where it would be a wise business decision to wipe them and walk away? that being the case, the Vegas could be it. Atlantic City could be it, or even with the destroyed auto industry it could very well be detroit which is prety much in decay anyway.

There are so many possibilities, but either way, i think this could very well backfire on them. All I know is if they every do something that targets US citizens again, I am ready for war, and martial law will be my trigger.

If a city were to be hit by a nuke (from any group) and this nuke was not delivered in the normal missile method ~ my money would be on a city with a large shipping port.. Reasons for this are straight forward, firstly a nuke is not a small thing (I know the famous suitcase bombs ~ that would take at least 2 men to move and would only level a city block or a big bridge or something) and air travel has far more checks for freight - so presuming the weapon has to be brought into the country shipping would be best - also you got the shear volume of shipping containers - odds are very high human hands might never touch this container for its entire journey. And finally flexibility - should situations change just chuck your container on a train or truck or even bury the flipping thing for another day.

Another one would be the knock on effects on economy if major ports were hit.

Yes, A cargo container would allow for alternate plans to be implemented easier...

I think you are right that the nuke would have to be substantial enough to take out the surrounding population of the shipping port...

I know your not supposed to post 'one-liners' but when the question is which country might be hit forst, theres not much else to say? So im gona throw in my 2cents worth and say that i believe Rome will be the first city to fall from a nuclear attack. No reasons imparticular but just a gut-instinct
