The brightest supernova on record will become visible to the naked eye in the northern hemisphere in February 2008. At first, it will appear as a bright blue star, then will gradually evolve into an irregular-shaped blue ring (like a smoke ring). It will not be close enough to cause damage to the earth or to life forms. However, astronomers will advise people not to look at it directly. Millions who do not heed the warning will die after looking directly at the "blue ring of fire" because a strange radiation will penetrate the pupil and "burn" into the brain. Many millions more will die from an unrelated event that occurs three months later: the supervolcanic eruption at Yellowstone. Thus, millions will die because of the supernova, but the supernova itself will serve as an omen that millions more will die from the natural disaster at hand in Yellowstone and from a third World War.

What does everyone make of this?
I think this would be very interesting to look into.

Ok, so it is a prophesy. I like how it is not dangerous but millions will die, and I wonder how looking at it will kill you with its blue radiation but not looking while standing right next to a person who does look will not do anything to you.

I also like how it is a omen for Yellowstone to erupt and as a side note at the end it’s like, and oh, a third world war too.

I'm at a loss for words . But feel the need to try to get something in this post.

Can anyone confirm at least the supernova part ? I can see hyping the story for there gain. Or is this just someone speculating?

lol, i was given that link from a friend of mine, and the supernova thing caught my eye, im not sure if you can predict a supernova or anything it says. Im just wanting to know if there is any more infomation on it? to get the ball rolling and get some links happening so people can read up on it.
Because i havent been able to find anything.

wouldnt it be grand if we could see something like taht without having our heads explode or the world ending

Well most supernovas are long gone when we see them, so we really can't predict one before the light from it travels all the way here to earth.

If the star was 300 light years away then when it goes supernova for a few weeks we would not know of it for 300 years after.

Wow, I cannot believe that people like you still exist in this world.

The title of this thread intrigued me, and then I come in to find nothing but garbage.

I hope the OP realizes the damage he's doing to the credibility and quality of this board and will refrain from such ill-devised posts going forward.

Sounds like they're freaking out over what's in this thread.

I don't know where they get next month though.

Oh really?
What kind of radiation only affects the brain through the eyes?
I'd really like some scientific explanation, or is this some new-agey "divine light that burns out evil for those unfortunate enough to see the face of the galactic kraaken".

Bummer, I thought it was a real event and was looking forward to seeing it.
Better not watch, I guess, lest I be consumed by the holy confligration.

This really sounds like Art Bells prediction nights that where aired in December, whilst i did not hear them all i did hear the yellowstone and the WW3 two i didnt hear the nova one, perhaps somebody did? I very much doubt there is anything in it because geiger counters all over the world would be going nutz me thinks? even now as the build up began,

Im guessing once again someone (not the op) is getting a buzz from scaring little old ladies. tis a shame..

If NASA mentions it on their site I will take it seriously. Not when it is on a website that looks like an 8 year old designed it or what looks like a geocities site than anyone can place on the internet.

Strange radiation eh? Sounds like BS to me as I never heard of this 'strange radiation' in my A-level physics class! (Although it was two years ago so who knows what weird and wonderful radiation 'they' have found since then) lol!

you think NASA will alert you the arrival of Planet X?

2 Things:
1st: If your waiting for NASA to warn anyone about anything then you'll be waiting for a very long long time.
2nd: Any website that includes unwarranted music I turn off quicker than I turned it on. Get rid of the annoying music and I'll give it a read.
