God and Infinity

1. What is God?

"God is the Supreme Intelligence--First Cause of all things."

2. What is to be understood by infinity?

"That which has neither beginning nor end; the unknown: all that is unknown is infinite."

3. Can it be said that God is infinity?

"An incomplete definition. Poverty of human speech incompetent to define what transcends human intelligence."

God is infinite in His perfections, but "infinity" is an abstraction. To say that God is infinity is to substitute the attribute of a thing for the thing itself, and to define something unknown by reference to some other thing equally unknown.

Thanks Ivan, i will do some reading on this in the morning. I do have my own opinion on the god factor, but it never hurts do some reading. Will let you know after i have done futher delving. Thanks again nuts.

The information in this book is sacred.

It should be handled with care.

I think in these times, most of you should read this book. It is a fast read and an extremely valuable one.

Yea, I study once a week Kardecism here in Brazil.

But I take that information with a grand of salt

And from what I know, he was a mason from the Grand Lodge of France.

I actually own the book. It is indeed a very intriguing book.

Kardecism is an interesting philosophy...

It's very popular in some countries, like Brazil and Argentina.
