Less than a week ago I was brought to a concert Monday night in Minneapolis MN at 1st Ave night club. Headlining was a man called Xavier Rudd.
I had never heard of this man before that night but he rocked my musical world. Rudd is a one-man-band/multi-instrumentalist who plays guitars,
Yidaki’s (didgeridoos), Weissenborn slide guitars, stomp boxes, djembes, harmonica, and a bunch of different percussion and drums.
He plays many at the same time and has a great singing voice. On top of all this his music rocks with a reggae, folk, and revolutionary human rights
sound.
The man is humble beyond words. He plays for peace, and human rights.
I have never seen the place so jumping or felt such good energy from a mass of people. I began to believe that we can change things for the better.
