Archivist's Notes: this file is legible. Details are few, only data comes from page one which describes the sighting and the conclusion that it was a skyhook balloon from General Mills. No description of the object or information on the witness was provided in this file.

Nothing to go on here. Without any information we are left with the conclusion of a skyhook balloon. Again, there is mention of Project Twinkle, the late '40s investigation into green fireballs.

Unless more information turns up, this document provides very little.

Here is a summary from PROJECT 1947

Early in 1950 the Geophysics Research Division received a directive to investigate peculiar light phenomena that had been observed in the skies of the southwestern United States. Project Twinkle was established to check into these phenomena and their explanation.
