Some members have noticed an increase in overall activity, especially as we've been breaking several site records this week. And, over the past year, our monthly traffic has been steadily increasing. But today, January 24th, 2008, AboveTopSecret.com, our members and staff have achieved an impressive milestone reserved for only 0.019% of all websites... or 3,991 other sites... and that is One Million Absolute Unique Visitors per month.

And you don't have to take our word for it. The highly-regarded third-party website ranking service, Quantcast, is the verifiable source establishing our rank defined as distinctly unique users and visitors during a 30-day period.


There are many ways to rank a website's popularity and success... and in many regards, we also rank very well...

BUT

Lets not look at raw numbers.....Lets look at the number of new members here who have posted questions or whatever, or some new members who stepped up to the plate with new ideas of their own...

There is evidence of BOTH since 5/11, and it is only a matter of time before these people pass on how good this place is word of mouth...

It's more than that... one million distinct users. The Quantcast technology uses a combination of:
-- cookie
-- IP address
-- browser and operating system signature
To define what is an absolute unique visitor. We actually get close to 1.8 million visits (or sessions), but the one million number is the total of distinct individuals visiting.

Yeeah!
