This could be an interesting thread where everyone suggests something to add to your kits. So let's try this format:

Add to your survival kit: Garrity 9 LED Mini Light

Why: Cheap, 16 hour battery life and super bright, has a tough lanyard, try attaching an orange emergency whistle on it like I have (the intention is these are given to my children during an emergency, they can blow whistle to attract attention)
