I'll start off by saying I only grab a few "quick pick" tickets if a draw is really high, but I never select any specific numbers like birth dates etc....

I found this chart on Lottolore that lists the frequency that numbers are drawn for Lotto Super 7 in Canada and I'm curious if this could give you any advantage.

The complete list is on their site here:
www.lottolore.com...

Lotto 6/49 also has a list of most drawn numbers and even has a few the same as the other lottery.

I know several people that use the same numbers week after week and spend money they can't really afford. But they would never miss a draw, and I know they've never pulled in a major prize.

What say you.
Do you play regularly ?
Do you have specific numbers ?
Should I try playing just the top drawn numbers ?

Or is this just a voluntary tax and I'm a fool for wasting my five bucks a week ?

You know what ad, I do have regular numbers.Unfortunately, I don't play them often enough.
I could have won a big prize in the 6/49 last year, 5 numbers+bonus, if I had.
I kicked my own ass for weeks over that.
Just wasn't meant to be.
Lotteries, like Casinos..are made on LOSERS not winners.
Sure somebody is going to win, and you can't win if you don't play...
Put the money away for a rainy day.It is better spent that way.
Just my 2 cents.

For the record, you know how people have certain numbers that keep showing up in their life like 11/11 ? My numbers are, you guessed it, 6/49.

For our "powerball" lottery, they claim that a percentage of the money is refunded in the form of collegiate scholarships. What a great rationalization to gamble.

Usually I pick 23 for the powerball and quick pic the rest ot the numbers.
23 because of the Masonic implications as described by Anton Wilson, may he rest in peace.

I have won over a hundred bucks with the 23 but over all, have lost much more than I have won. Still I like to help the college kids with their scholarships.

I also play Texas Holdem at the Indian Casinos. Loser there too.
