ingredients
15 bean soup bag=1 of
ham hock for stock=1 of
artificial ham flavor=dollop of
adobo=dash of
minced garlic=1 clove of
olive oil=splash of
ham chunks=5 slices of, cut myself
------------------

now this is how i like to do it....it's an all day thing.
put the beans in the water with the hock and the ham flavor and bring to a boil. let boil for about 5 minutes then turn it down to simmer and add the rest of the goodies....let it simmer and 'reduce' till about 4pm ans serve it up. thats a 6 hour reduction.

i am big on reducing things like these soups, my stews, my homemade red sauce, chilli....

gonna be good eats tonight...
fry some taters and pour bean soup over top....

thats a nice irish meal for ya right thuur

That looks good Boondock, I really like bean soups and stews.

Can you list the ingredients in the 15 bean soup bag for those of us that can't find it or want to go from scratch.

Sounds delicious.
Made something similar a couple of weeks ago. Just a ONE bean version though.
Black beans were all I had.

Just kidding, I actually haven't started my new years diet. I am making this dish in my kitchen this weekend.

I’m sorry but I have to say it…..that looks horrible, I wouldn’t want to eat that…..

Someone gave me that at a restaurant I’d sue for poisoning without even taking a bite…
