Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't this be akin to drawing $10,000.00 or more from your bank account? If you draw $10,000.00 from your account it is red flagged and the IRS gets involved, at least that's what I've been told.

Just want to add one more to that list - could GE/MSNBC use a First Amendment arguement to limit an unwanted candidates viability?

Why would Mit Romney do Ron Paul a favor and get a recount stopped that Paul already declared he did not want to happen?

Not sure about a recount helping Paul's placement, but I think if you look at the percentage shift that is being calculated between Hand and Scan counted ballots Mit had an anomalous 7% (or something around there where the other (R) candidates were more like +-2%)

Just a speculative thought as to motive of said conspiracy.

I think it would have damaged Ron Paul's reputation if he had called for a recount, that's why he didn't do it, even if he thought there should be one.

nah ive bene here for years

No recall was needed because he got what 8% of the vote. Thats really the bottom line

Not a strong showing AND why foot the bill for the recount, that one possibly two points he would gain (at best) would still leave him exactly where he is today.

TG,

Are you negative toward RP because you're icon leans green/environmentalist? I've had an ongoing debate with some very green peep's about RP, and I see their concerns. Just curious.

A 1% Gain by paul ties him with MR.911/AmericasMayor in NH. While Paul might not have the nuts to contest for this percentage, the MSM can not afford to have the GOP as a 4 man race with RP as that viable 4th IMO.

I just cancelled my Paypal account. For the reason I ticked 'other' and wrote that it was because they froze the Granny Warriors account.
Now I just hope they transfer the money they owe me into my bank account.
Boycotts work if they are sustained.

Reading all the post, I have to throw in my 2 cents via paypal. I will use paypal only as a payment gateway to a seller and never as an ebay payment as a seller. I read paypal sucks dot com and there is to many horror stories for me to feel comfortable with paypals convenient secretive structure.

There are other forums with many more paypal horror stories and together they should sink paypal but something keeps it going strong. But, like all financial interest, a day will arrive when the plug will be pulled and whatever cash is in the bin will be lost to the top ranking pockets as they save themselves and everyone else can go down with the scheme.

Not a surprise, can anybody tell me who is the president of PayPal, in fact better yet look at the person who financed the start up.

Then people still say that this is not a conspiracy.

Please.

No, but that's an issue of property rights.

I don't get it... most rational freedom-loving people want the Government out of their lives. Here we have people who judging by their condemnation of PayPal's actions I would assume want that as well. That is, except for when they would benefit. Then it's "there should be a law!"

Quite hypocritical.

Indeed.

It's why I think in the end there is little material difference between the two major parties in this country. They each subscribe to the "government power" model for achieving their respective aims.

The vision of our founding fathers began to shrivel on the vine long ago. I hope there is something left to sustain it.

There is. I saw this bumper sticker on Cafepress:

"If you hate Democrats and Republicans, you might be a Libertarian."

As their numbers shrink, our numbers grow. I just hope it's not too late.
