The Disclosure Project..What was the Outcome?

Ok, I've been hearing and watching videos about this Disclosure Project for some time now... I also noticed how after every witness finishes their story, in the hour or 2 long video, they say, "I will testify under oath to Congress that everything i have said is true."

What I'm trying to get at is, that Disclosure Project video is pretty old already, does anyone KNOW what the hell was the outcome upon recording this event. Did they ACTUALLY go in front of Congress or what?

I mean, here is this great big "Project" with a lot of important people in it telling of their own personal experiences. So why isn't anything happening here? I don't mean to sound ignorant or anything, because maybe something did happen with the government and the Disclosure Project, and i just haven't heard about it yet, but anyways... does anyone know what happened after The Disclosure Project was made?

Sadly, nothing happened. Matter of fact, the leader of the project, Stephen Greer, either went friggin' crazy, or was placed in that position to discredit the whole thing, because he now leads a group called CSETI and claims to be able to call UFOs to appear, and also claims that pictures of moths are beings of light, when in all reality it's just lens flare illuminating the moth.

I have a theory that maybe he either was put in place to discredit the whole thing, or possibly he really believes what he is saying and the government targeted him and made him do all these absurd things and start claiming all this absurd crap.

But either way, now he's just in it for the money. He'll tell you all about it if you're willing to pay him 800 dollars to join his cult.

daaaamn Indie, so you're telling me that after all that commotion about the Disclosure Project, they failed and it was just terminated?

Don't let him break your spirit with his own theory. The Disclosure project was about confirming the existence of ET life in the universe and their contact with our planet. Unless you have seen a UAO for yourself it is very hard to come to terms with their existence so I'm sure you can imagine the reaction of millions/billions of people around the world if the main stream media suddenly came clean and published some of the real evidence? If you are prepared to consider space travel and the theories of what it may take to achieve then I believe you should keep your mind open to all the possibilities and remember that we only use a small percentage of our brains. I not saying that all Mr S.Greers theory's are true but I'm not prepared to rubbish them just because I cannot yet comprehend what I have not experienced myself.
It would seem that the US/UK government (and many more) are not willing to disclose the truth regarding the UAO issue but don't give up trying to find the truth.
If you see any UAO's for yourself (If you haven't already?) then you will realise that the world has being mislead for many years. After that, life changes a little and becomes harder to digest each day.

What happened was, shortly after the May 2001 press conference, 9/11 and the resulting "War on Terror" happened, which took a lot of steam out of the Disclosure Project.

However, I think "Disclosure fever" is in the air again, and 2007 HAD to be a record year for events in Ufology. Things are definitely picking up, and I hope to see some cool new technologies coming out very soon.

PS indierockalien: CSETI came first, in 1990. The Disclosure Project press conference didn't happen until 2001. It happened despite the existence of Greer's "Cult"!

I totally agree MrdDstrbr, Disclosure Fever IS here again!.
Lets hope that people start looking beyond the trash on the net and focus on real groups that have more to offer that a few pieces of poor footage and their predictably crap consumer items.
I believe it's time the Disclosure Project was pushed forward again.

We could ALL make it happen?.
