Colonizing Iraq

Why does the US have to attack Iraq, but yet the US will not colonize Iraq. If the US is going to spend tax dollars invading a country the least they could do, would be to let US citizens go over to Iraq, and colonize the country. If that is not the goal, then why invade. What kind of idiots are in the white house?

The US didn't invade to take over Iraq. The US invaded so the Rothschilds and the Rockefellers could take over Iraq. And don't forget about Halliburton-stan either.

I say if we want to take over there world, HEY JUST LET ME KNOW. better us than them, right? we should really put iraq on look down instead of just sittin in the middle of the desert getting shot at. so anyhow we should just come since we are not fighting a declared war. That would be better than fighting with one hand tied behind our back.

Because its cheaper to use economic imperialism than outright colonialism. Why use up public and private coffers on a long process of colonization when you can subjugate a people economically? You get all the economic benefits of their markets and cheap exploitable labour, and none of the hassles of revolution and insugency.

Its a tactic the US has been using since the spanish war.
