Deadly Blizzards Bring Asia Chaos

news.bbc.co.uk

Heavy snow and bitterly cold weather have caused scores of deaths and major disruption in parts of Iran, Afghanistan, Central Asia and Pakistan.

Some areas have seen snow for the first time in years, with people struggling to keep warm in sub-zero temperatures amid power shortages.

In Iran, heavy snow over recent days has seen eight people frozen to death after being trapped in their cars.

Tens of thousands of other motorists were rescued from their vehicles.

Some desert areas in Iran reported snowfalls for the first time in living memory.

Well, snow in Iran and Afghanistan?

The worst snowfall in many parts of Asia in Living memory?

Seems to me like the climate is definitely changing.

Be it man made or natural, who knows? But something is definitely afoot.

I wonder how long the treaty between russia and US was for the ban on such weapons

or it could just be mother nature

Weather Control Devices

it is speculated that Russia used such weapons to control rain in vietnam making it hard for US to find the ho chi minh and after such war there was to have been a treaty on such ban of weapons

I never said they didn't have snow in Afghanistan, as that stands to reason seeing as they have mountains. what is unprecedented is the amount of snow and the fact it has snowed in desert regions in Iran that have not seen snow in living memory.

Sorry, probably wasn't to clear in my OP. I didn't want to take too much of a stance there in case some members lept on me instead of looking at the story.

The levels of snow across such a huge swath of Asia is unprecedented.
