Direct x 11

Direct x 11 coming

Coming in late 08/early 09.

Now the question is will this be a download or part of the new operating system-after vista???

it would be suicide for ms to only release it with a new os. it will be an upgrade. it will actually be what directx10 should have been. i was in contact with a contractor that worked at MS for a while and he basically said that DX10 was scrapped. they half-assed the implementation just to get the basic framework up. that's why dx10 performance is so terrible.
