Iran's Revolutionary Guards say the US navy fabricated evidence that a convoy of its ships was harassed by Iranian speedboats in Gulf waters on Sunday.
The Iranian parliamentary speaker has dismissed the affair as being part of a US propaganda campaign against Tehran.

Well, who to believe. Was it cat and mouse, or a blatant U.S. propaganda attempt?
If you are familiar with the Gulf of Tonkin incident, the USN/NSA screwup that started the Vietnam War, then no doubt you will already be drawing many parallels between these two events.
But personally, I'm leaning towards the American story at this stage. That's just me of course.

yeah its a confusing one, and i tend to think the truth could be from either side however the video clearly shows the US ships being teased a little by someones group of boats.

theres so little else to go on really.

its a way of drawing attention from the Presidents middle-east travels

...except for the most focused militants who are not distracted by media news & reports of ship incidents in the Gulf.


watch for at least one more heigthened incident/event in the region,
as the Revolutionary Guards gunboat affront is quickly in the 3rd section
and 2 column inches of any major newspaper in the world.
