The "Chip". Would you endorse it ??

My apologies if this topic has already been exhausted....

However, I just wanted an opinion from the ATS nation regarding implantation of microchips in the American population. To simplify, it has already been speculated that there has been investigation into surgically implanting a small microchip that would contain your S.S.N, your medical history, and even as far as the ability to purchase consumer goods. An example would be the paypass swipe cards available for use in gas stations and retail merchants.

Would you get one ? Would you let your child get one (with the promise that all children could be tracked via OnStar- esque technology.) Would you endorse Pedophilles and/or repeat criminal offenders to be required for such implantation ? What if the government were to mandate this and make it law as of say 2010 ?? (all citizens and newborns are required), done through the Department of Motor Vehicles or Social Security Administration to continue to recieve benefits ???

What if we were to allow temporary employment opportunities to Illegal Immigrants (but were required to have implanitaition), would this fix the problem ?? Would this be considered an act of revoking our very liberties as United States citizens ??

Would some take this as "the Mark of the Beast" were it to be implemented if/ and when a New World Order were to come into existence ???

Your thoughts and responses would greatly be appreciated folks !!! I am bed-ridden for the next few weeks recovering from surgery

Short answer- NO, not a chance, no way in heck, never, N'uh uh, Nyet.

I don't believe in any of that Mark of the Beast stuff, but the darn gov't has too much control over our lives as it is, without allowing them to know where we are 24-7. What happened to freedom?

With that being said, I do agree that murderer's, rapists, child molesters, serial killers should be implanted. They tried to take freedom away from someone else, and jail is a joke these days, so they should be monitored all the time for the rest of there lives. I'd even go one more and say some type of cyanide capsule be placed in the implants those sort get so if they step out of line even a little bit, no more problem.

Any freedom loving person should not allow this to pass, even if it means being dropped from the grid. We'll all just get together and live in peace and FREEDOM

I would expect something like this to occur in a disaster related type scenerio. But, I doubt there will be so many lining up and changing their old habits. I doubt it would catch on right away. 2010 isn't far off and I doubt this will happen that quickly. For all I know, I already have it or some other similar tracking device if I've been in any type of a surgery.

I really don't want to have to fend for myself living in the woods otherwise.

Would it be concievable that some positive benefit would come from this ?? Imagine a scenario relevant to the movie "Gattaca" an interview for employment would be just as that one scene; Ethan Hawke: " What about the interview ?" Scientist: "That was it..." (but in this instance utilizing microchips instead of DNA as in the movie.)

We already are categorized in America in such a way by a thing called "CREDIT", this catagorization limits us to obtain certain things, it can and does affect the quality of life for millions of Americans right now.
Some employers practice the standard of obatining credit reports of applicants while considering their applications.

Is this any different in some aspect than a surgical technique that would allow instant access into your financial, criminal, medical, existence ??

And it would be EASY to get most people to take this..just let the dollar collapse....people would be pushin and shovin to get their chip if they had to have it to feed themeselves and/or their family.

The 'chip' would have to be secured to the body, or else it can be removed, copied, swapped, used for illegal reasons, or re-coded.

It's a difficult one. If I were a hacker, I'd have a crack at it.

Yes of course I would take a Chip. But then I know the mark of the Beast is from precious metals. The Catholic Church shall issue coins with the stamp .999 fine. If you accept them for payment you will be holding the stamp 666 in your hand with the stamp on the forehead (face) and side (wrist). The location of the face of the coin also plays on whores of Rome (Called Babylon by the Jew of Biblical days) who wore their names on the forehead. The thought that this has been precisely predicted thousands of years in advance in the ancient Biblical texts, and that taking the mark forfeits my eternal soul shouldn't faze me. After all it's just a fairy tale right?

I'd much rather starve to death than depend on The Beast or their little microchips to sustain my life. Granted, it wouldn't be pleasant, but I'd rather go that way and keep my integrity than ever align myself willingly with evil.

Though Regina this is one of the reasons I dont believe destruction or the end times are within the next 5 or so years at least.The time to warm people to it and implement this chip or mark will not be imminent,though is being looked into and is somewhere on the distant horizon imo.

Most will take this mark when left with little to no choice,especially families I can easily imagine.I wont be one of them when it comes.

Something big would have to happen way bigger than 9/11 to implement something like this and force or sell it to the world,or they will have to do things as they are changing things slowly in that direction.

But the technology is there,they just need a good excuse to bring it on the masses.

No i would definately not endorse it. There is definately no need to have a microchip implanted in your body. No need at all.

Tell me what is wrong with a non-invasive method of carrying a wallet with electronic cards?

There are always going to be some people who are ok with it.
There are always going to be other people who aren't ok with it.
They will have to cater for both needs.

I'll be the one who isn't ok with it, which they'll have to use the old method of scanning my credit/debit card, entering a pin , signature, etc.... Else cold cash...

I dont need something put in me that can be put in a card in my wallet.

One thing I have always been mindful of regarding the Mark of the Beast, as contained in Revelation is this scriptural warning in Revelation 16:2

And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous (malignant) sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.

IF indeed this chip implantation were to be the fulfillment of this prophecy, then from reading the scriptural reference above, we know that anyone who does take that (implanted chip) mark, will develop painful sores. My thought has focussed on what causes the noisome, grevious malignant sore? It is just a personal opinion, but I can see something like this developing in the long term use from each person having to be "scanned" continually or, at best, something in the make up of the chip itself will be found to cause some sort of cancer. But, as I said, this is just a thought.

Hello friend This is precisely what deceives people... the microchip isn't "The Mark of the Beast" like so many people think it is. I believed it was as well up until a couple years ago too. It's actually aligning yourself with world government (the US or otherwise, aka The Beast) over God. And even knowing this, I still wouldn't accept being microchipped for my own personal reasons over and above what I already know in regards to the truths of End Times. I'd rather rely on God to see me through and if that didn't happen and He wanted me to come home, it would be His will, which I accept whole-heartedly.

This is the reason I`m not worried about you personally with it when I have to disagree,though must admit to be concerned about how you will feel when 2008 will go by with the regular disasters/horror`s we know too well.Point being our life can be taken away in an instant as it is,specific prediction can and will be seen as fear tactics.The signs of the times and warning of what to look out for are meant for believers,though we are instructed to be ever ready.
I think you are ready,though I dont see your predictions coming true is all.

Aligning yourself with anything over and above God is antichristian,though also believe there will come a time when a clear decision will be put to everyone to accept the mark or be viewed as the enemy.The biochip seems the closest candidate for the mark for mine.All they would have to do is abolish cash and rely solely on this chip so that none could buy or sell without it.Then they would have their clear cut choice for all to make.
I fasinating to watch, though isn`t very important as compared to the now.

The main thing to consider here is:
1. Are they providing us with this technology because they love and care for us and want us to be safe?
or..
2. There is a very sinister motive behind this technology?

Unfortunately, for people to accept this technology (which the Government WANTS you to do), people must be made to believe it will make them "safe". This means an environment needs to be created that will make people feel UNSAFE. Very scary stuff...

RFID Tags implanted in animals have been found to cause cancer...those who have taken RFID's into their hands for their door locks see a similar problem...see here

What it comes down to is whether or not we are free men or are we livestock. First they enslave us with credit and debt. They created a system where people willingly and happily enslave themselves to a central banking system that has developed a system to have us beholden to them for our enitre lives through the encouragement of spending beyond our means to attain a lifestyle that they encourage through use of their propaganda outlets. Even now we live in a situation where it is almost impossible to maintain a civilized lifestyle without incurring debt with interest. Now that they have us cuaght in their "matrix" they just need to take the final step and brand us in a way that they can effectively track their livestock and maintain absolute control over their livestock so none of them get the idea of up and running out on the system.

Imagine a hundred cattle locked up in a pin and they see 2 or 3 cows out in the field frolicking freely. Now imagine that the cow's in the pin are smart enough to figure it out...

The "CHIP" is about maintaining power. Nothing else. You get out of line? Well we just shut off your chip, now you have no access to your bank account, your job, your car (RFID door lock recognition, done and done). social security, TV , nothing.

The final question...

Who benefits?
