and i even took a couple pics for you.
this pot is pinto and navy beans.
soaked all the beans over night. i stripped the ham bone as best i could and then tossed it in the pot with the beans and ham meat.
i added my spices(can't share the secret) and i am going to bring it to a boil and then simmer it for about 6 hours.
i like to reduce it nice and slow over the course of the day.
i know you like beans over toast...
do you reduce yours???
edit* of course the bone is in there. thats what makes the stock....
gonna be nummers when it is done....it already smells good
