Little info on the Greys

I have been reading a few threads lately and I just thought I'd share this with you. It seems (I forget exactly who said this) that some people think the image supposed abductees have of Greys is because that is what our cultures image is of aliens and that it is near impossible for them to resemble us because it would require a planet with almost exactly the same atmosphere, gravity, etc.

I just thought I'd add this and put it up for discussion that the first known instance of the Grey aliens was in the 1977 film Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Steven Spielberg modeled the aliens after speaking with abductees prior to making the movie.

Just thought I'd ask what the skeptics think on this. Myself? I'm not sure whether or not I believe that aliens have visited earth though I believe 100% there is life out there and 98% there is intelligent life.

I personally think the universe is probably teeming with life but something makes me think the greys have nothing to do with other planets. There's something queer about the bland, black and white "greyness" of the phenomenon. They remind me of those old computer games like tennis. Basically that's all we got when that technology was made available to the public. It could be they are/were the beginning of mind war technology, i.e. MAN MADE. That's what I'm thinking today anyway, (might change my mind tomorrow). I've been looking over my Jacques Vallee collection this week so the "grand deception" theory is my pick of the week.

The Psychological Hypothesis

The solution is to find a way to formulate the skeptical position in terms of a positive explanation, an alternative hypothesis to the ETH, rather than merely a rejection of the ETH. I have dubbed such an alternative hypothesis the Psychocultural Hypothesis (PCH). The PCH attempts to understand and explain the UFO phenomenon as a cultural phenomenon rooted in human psychology – a modern post-technological mythology.

Aliens represent both our greatest hopes and our greatest fears, as mythological icons usually do. At times they are here to save humanity, usually by offering simplistic advise about the threat of nuclear holocaust or environmental irresponsibility. At other times they are cold and sinister, performing invasive and frightening experiments for their own mysterious and dark purposes.

Many scientists and science fiction writers have noticed that the little gray aliens look incredibly human. As one writer put it, “aliens have no business looking so human.” The probability that an alien race, the product of a completely separate evolutionary history, would look even vaguely humanoid is vanishingly small. The aliens, however, do not just appear as humans, they appear like humans with those traits we psychologically associate with intelligence exaggerated. If, for example, we compare humans to apes we can observe that humans have larger relative craniums, smaller faces with more gracile features, and less hair. If we take a human and then increase the cranium size, make the face smaller and all features more gracile, and take away the hair, you end up with a typical gray alien.

The greys may not exist materially in this dimension/universe, it's hard to say, but this seems to me to be a very real possibility. Like John Lash believes the Archons (what he calls the greys) are part of the fabric of the universe...

The greys have been around since Roswell I had thought? If not Roswell, when was the Betty and Barney Hill case? It was certainly the greys that Betty and Barney Hill encountered...

I remember reading in another thread (cant remember which) that theoretical studies on the greys said that they may be highly evolved versions of Dolphins. Given their intellect and telepathic abilities and the fact that most people remember being paralyzed upon meeting them. Dolphins have an echo ability that can paralyze its targets.

Or they could be a cross breed between Humans and Dolphins. Genetic Splicing? Cause they DO have limbs. Arms and Legs. They look humanoid with Dolphin type features. Since dolphins are considered the second most intelligent mammals on earth, right below humans. It could be possible that in the future, humans and dolphins are spliced together to create a super intelligent race.

Greys seem to be void of human emotions. We can't assume that all creatures feel emotions like humans do. Maybe splicing changed the emotional response of these sentient beings?

Well, technically dolphins have limbs too. Their "fins" evolved from legs around 50-million years ago, when the ancestors of cetaceans took to the seas, which looked something like a hooved-wolf. If the Grey aliens do exist, and they did evolve from cetaceans, it is possible they were forced back to the land and re-evolved limbs to compensate.

I'm sorry but what dolphin features are we talking about. As far as I can see they may have a telepathic like ability to paralyse, black eyes and they are a similar colour. Could you elaborate on this a little more or if you remember point us in the direction of the thread. On the theroy itself based on our current society I don't think humans would be so quick to take on charecterists of animals via genetic engineering.

Also I would only assume we would take on more physical characteristics of dolphins rather then their grey skin and black eyes. In fact several features look the exact opposite of each other for example dolphins have long noses and large mouths. There may be more to this and I'm probably talking out my a$$.

I thought greys were like bee drones and worked for a specific 'other' race of 'aliens'. I have also read they have little emotion, and are more like that of scientists. you bring up a good point. i know of no one ever coming out with any real proof of aliens. the only problem is that, then why are theres so many people claiming there were abducted. thats say that there is some kind of mass hysteria and that these people are lying? how can so many people lie and could so many be crazy! i think we are the crazy and dumb for not seeing the big picture. sorry friend your forgot about the massive amount of documentation gathered over the 3 or 4 decades of this issues.

I am happy to point out to you that the Dropa people (of dropa stone fame) were small gray aliens, very ugly who supposely crashed on the Tibetan plateau 12,000 years ago. The first grey alien and every subsequent one was developed as a drone, a servant to do the scut work of their creators. Gray aliens are being created in underground bases like Dulce (Dull C) New Mexico. For some reason the threads for Dulce were closed down and padlocked by ATS. I plan to blast that lock off with new and pertinent evidence that gray manufacture is a "growth" industry.

By all means, any and all new evidence is welcome! Weather it's on Dulce or on Dropa stones, there hasn't been much of anything new lately.

Where do you plan on obtaining this info?
