Petrol Bomb in M&S (Marks and spencers)

just got this news (from someone that works in M&S)
someone tried to attack M&S with a petrol bomb around 15:00
they evactuated the building, and evactuated the shops next to it for a couple hours.

wounder how Long it will take to hit the press.

this was in St albans
and they are looking through CCTV to see who did it

Could be anyone disgruntled with capitalism, or it could be a lone nutter or even a scare tactic.

they are located all around the country
nah i just got this info from my source.
they got evactuated and was in the cold for a few hours and was told by their managment that someone had planted a petrol bomb in the store.


i will get more info when the person goes back to work.
hopefully the person can ask their managment what happend and whats going to happen

I thought petrol bombs or 'molotovs' are thrown? Not planted?

i assume you can plant them and then set them off like an explosive
but im no explosive expert im sure someone else can full us in on that,

That’ll be an incendiary devise then.

Then if you were going to plant them with a timer/detonator, wouldn't you use an explosive and not a petrol bomb?

Just a thought.

Either way, there's nothing on the Beeb, probably because it wasn't a muslim, therefore not an act of terrorism, more a case of either radicalism or 'lone nutterism'

funny thing is when i searched this up i got some links to the IRA using petrol bombs on M&S

Might it have been something on a 'small' scale, whereas it would be hardly worth mentioning? Not a real threat, just an act of idiocy?

Odd there wouldn't be 'any' reports anywhere, media or police.
