i live just outside of cleveland and i listen to the cleveland police scanner all the time on the net.
it's free. i like hearing whats going on...

anyone else listen to their area?

You listen on the net? That's cool. I used to listen all the time, until my scanner got "misplaced".

Is that something available in most cities?

i listen almost every day through real player

they just got a call about 2 sisters fighting....someones bout to go to the clink.

now there is a domestic call. be advised. call back is busy.

this is fantastic stuff

Where I live at down in the Charleston area, we don't have the online scanners yet. I think we may get it down here soon enough. Even though we don't have the online scanners down here. I do, on occasion, listen to FDNY dispatch at The Bravest. Most of the time I'm either listening to that or Railroad Radio.
