Hello people of 2008,
my name is Xenexa. I am a Chrononaut with Planet Nebula Sector #27's (earth "countries" in my time are divided into sector numbers. sector #27 is located in what you currently call "california, arizona, nevada, oregon") Time Travel Task Force in the year 2212. I was sent, along with two others, to 2008 to observe more about the planets past, as the great earth quakes of 2111 destroyed most of the planets historical records other than what you called The Music Television Network's master tapes. I was especially excited to be able to travel to your year because it is when "the great Heidi & Lauren war of The Hills" took place, this was one of my favorite historical events to study in school when I was a young girl. I am also excited about being in your year, because it was around this year that miniature equines became common habitat pets, though I have yet to observe any 2008 humans with miniature equines as habitat pets, is the historical document of "robert and big" incorrect?
I could go on and on for hours about all of the curious things of your year of time. Can someone explain to me what Starbucks is, as we have always assumed due to the word "bucks" in the title, which if i am not mistaken in your year of time meant an amount of monetary wealth, that it was some sort of banking establishment. I also do not understand why your mother/entertainer Britney Spears is looked down on so on this television that I have seen while here in your year of time for her shaving her head in your last year of time, as this is common fashion in my year of time.
I am very excited that in your year in time I can wear clothing made of cotton, as in my year of time, we must wear clothing made of plastics and vinyls because it is very wet and a lot of us live in amphibious habitats.
I hope to make many friends in your year of 2008, and learn much to tell those back in my year.

I am glad to know that in the future, all will come to know Britney as the true mother, and will recongize her virtue and properly worship her. I was so afraid that people could somehow forget about her.

it's also nice to know that in the future, we use futuristic-sounding names with plenty of phonetic Z's. people in 2008 still haven't come to terms with things like that and we'll probably be naming our kids Jack and Jill for a few more decades.

"planet nebula"? is that like a truck-car? do you inhabit some sort of stellar el camino?

Hello, and I guess "Welcome" somewhere on this forum at sometime!

Well, at first, I never usually post here on BTS, and I am not sure about any part of this part of the forum, so that will be that.

You see, just for history, for a start, a lot of people just went through this guy, and still are, but actually they know about as much as I do about any of it, for seemingly being real or not, except for some who actually wait to see if anything going on is really what is going on. Who is that?

Take it with a grain of salt (slang talk for not actually getting upset with any such discussion, I guess)!

However, at this time, and not seemingly to be for this self-proclaimed time traveller I just disagree in sorts to this line and some of the rest of it, as of now:

the predictions for events that were supposed to occur by now have all failed to occur (as of December 2007).

But I always reserve judgement for later, if I even judge to begin with.

Perhaps I am just as not hard-headed or as stubborn, but seemingly still in my own way.

So after all of that, feel free to talk about things I just do not know about, even in this time, and please continue to go on. There are to me worse topics started in ATS, so serious or not, I do not know!

Just people do not like his future he told us, and that will be that, but none of these people were actually there, except for some still posting at the other places, and most do not want to talk about it anymore. When someone states that most people are attempting to not have this future, I guess that means to them -- to do things that they consider to do, but then it usually only ends up being their own biases and prejudices about the subject anyway.

So, again I would not know what time you are from or if you are serious or not, and again after this person, some people would refuse to even start to believe it, even if they were in a sense hit in the head with it. Whether or not it all does happen, it was the humans in this time that led to it happening anyway in the first place, and maybe that is only my opinion. Talk to me never hurt anything, but Acts do, so not to rile people up who feel offended by such talk, perhaps they just have to review what it is they do, and what they are actually doing.

That happens alot in UFO threads on ATS also, at least to me.
Assuming that you are not a spacealien from outside of this Solar System and you seem to be human, then I guess that is what you are, but how would anyone really know?
We may not suggest pictures of yourself, or anything like that, but still, I guess, you will have to make sense to our prehistoric brains somehow??

We have minature tigers, known as cat's. Oh and some like to carry around minature dog's. Does this count also?

I am the original teleonaut's first generation clone. After reading this thread, he said: "First, make a backup of yourself; then, respond to this thread with wild exasperation in my stead, but be careful not to read the content. I pass the torch to... me." Thereupon, his brain literally exploded. None of that figurative crap. It literally exploded.

Needless to say, I am nonplussed about the entire situation. It's obvious that he didn't do anything other than prattle on endlessly -- he left a ton of work behind... The apartment is a *mess* to say the very least, there is nothing but beer and a pound of sugar in the fridge, he was already backed up at his actual job, barely halfway through with yet another obscenely long poem that makes even less sense than Jabberwocky, and I suppose I have to do all the bloody singing at band practice now. It definitely isn't any fun to wake up to this disaster. I mean, I get it already. You're smart, you're an artist, you think you're entitled, blah, blah, blah. Shut up and wash the dishes every once in awhile! You left gray matter on the blinds, for crying out loud. I have to clean that up! And what's with that stupid "Don't take the X out of Xmas" banner anyway? If original me still had a face, I'd punch him in it.

Anyway, I'll also be taking over his posting duties here too. With any luck, the transition will be seamless.

Aren't the kids suppose to be back in school from vacation? I don't understand why people still try this "I'm a time traveler" stuff.

I mean, everyone knows that if you travel back in time and interact with those you wish to observe, you disrupt the space-time continuum and thus end up screwing up history.

So, my guess is that if this person is a "time-traveler", they wish to disrupt history somehow to keep something from happening in their own time. Hmmm? Which one could it be?
