Al-Qaida denies involvement in slaying despite official accusations

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan - Islamic militants said Saturday they had no link to Benazir Bhutto's assassination, dismissing government claims that a leader of pro-Taliban forces in Pakistan carried out the suicide attack on the opposition leader.

Bhutto's aides also said they doubted the militant commander Baitullah Mehsud was behind the attack and accused the government of a cover-up.

To prove they are not responsible for her death the Pakistan government will surely now for once and for all get rid of all Al Qaida terrorists and truly become a country ruled by a democratic self-governing people.

I just read a thread saying Al-Quada has claimed responsibility for the assasination. That would be convenient for the ruling party and get Musharraf off the hook for the time being. The plot thickens.

I've said this before...
Theres no sense in Al-Qaeda attacking Bhutto, the opposition to their enemy (Musharraf).

If anything, they would have targeted Musharraf.


And now the question of whether Al-Qaeda is behind it... let me ask you this... when Al-Qaeda blows something up, when has there ever been a question of who did it?

The first thing Al-Qaeda does is BOASTS about blowing up their target.

If there is a question of whether Al-Qaeda did it, simply put, they didn't do it.



Al-Qaeda is looking at the news and scratching their heads just like we are.

It was Musharrafs government who was behind this, mark my words.

Al-Qaida = CIA So anytime terror is committed by "Al Qaida" you can bet it is the CIA.
