Now I'm not saying this is a boring site, but if you come to a website every day, you might have a few days where you can't find anything to post on or you can't think of anything to say and you seem bored with it. I'm sure it's happened to alot of members.

So, what do you do? Take a break for a few days? Just take a break from posting for a few days and lurk around? Try to think up a new thread? Post silly one liners in a bunch of threads?

Well, givenb that I am someone who is used to being "bored," I don't get bored very easily.
I have no social life, so I really don't get the whole "I'm bored" comments that people make.
:shk:

Bored... around this place, are you crazy...

Seriously, there was a time when I went through that, same stuff, same arguements everyday, however I took a step back and looked at maybe approaching some discussions with an even more open mind.

I'm good to go now.

Well, when I get bored here, I
think about strip clubs.

Then I get dressed, thinking
about strip clubs.

Then I call my ride, and go to
a strip club.

Once there, I think about ATS.

Sad, I know....

Regards,
Lex

Go to PTS of course!

Also, when not around here I look on google video and youtube for some new videos/documentaries I haven't seen yet.

I also play a lot of online poker. I read a lot of ATS threads in between hands which actually helps my game (thanks ats!). Poker tournaments can last from 2 to 12 hours online, and it does get hard to focus after a few hours of playing.

Then there is always the real world, which is primarily composed of spending time with my girlfriend or friends, when I'm not working.

Real life...
Riding my mt bike in the desert, flyfishing, Indian Casinos, Lot's of Movies,
Playing music in the beerjoints, coffeehouses, BBQ shacks and bars.

Well most of the time when I'm not on the internet, I will be writing songs on my guitar or studying some kind of music theory. Sometimes I study that theory online too so I can multi-task really well.

But I'm pretty much always with my guitar since music is my life.

Go disappear into the jungle for a couple of weeks. Out of cell phone coverage and out of civilization. Makes you appreciate technology when you get back to it.

If that's not possible... I will make it possible.

Frankly, I never get "bored" of ATS, BTS or AP. It would seem that there is always something that grabs my attention and interest. But, indeed, there are times when I am simply not online.

When I'm not "glued to my computer", I do enjoy reading (I have a stack of books in my "must read pile" and I'm always adding to it). I also watch movies and, of course, listen to music. And then there are my projects to keep me busy. By projects, I mean project -- the renovation of a cottage from a seasonal dwelling to a year round abode. I'm not a skilled tradesman so it's been quite a learning experience for me.

And, then there is the wife. When there is nothing to do.....no computer, no book, no music or movie to watch. When there is nothing that needs to be done at the cottage there is always my wife. Thankfully, she never bores me and damn......I always can find "something" to do with her that will occupy my time.

Like previous forums where I slowed down my postings, I would get bored with this place as well and find new forums to post anything, 'just to do something' with my spare time. But since I'm a newbie, getting bored with ATS/BTS/PTS is still premature.

Since I've no social life other than being an arm-chair guru at home upstairs in my computer room, I would blog, rant and rave. There are the unfinished chores that noone wants to do around this house. And of course, there is always the regular televised programming once in awhile.

Well if I'm bored with the same old partisan crap on Ron Paul mania on AP I wait until someone like DonWhite or Justin Oldham makes a thread or a post that I can sink my teeth. I don't get bored with ATS sometimes I just avoid some topics rather then try to reason with people and some of there ding bat ideas.

As for BTS I take the same lighter hearted approach that I do to ATS.

Are those In Rainbows Ads I see?

Bored of ATS/BTS? Well, I search in vain for hours on ATS and BTS to find something to unbore me. Call it an addicting faith. Like heroin... I think. Never take heroin, I have never taken it, but if you take it for too long (don't think its a once and over kind of thing) you actually get gane green (because it is poison/toxic) and have to chop off the limb.

err,
Going to the pub, music, you tube, scooter rallies (which essentially is going to the pub and listening to music), sex, going to the pub, music, computer games, internet, reading, going to the pub and music. And a little golf here and there.
