The hanging florescent light flickers on. "Matt, time to get up". My dads familiar voice rings through my room. "Urggg, Hassbler..". I grumble, pull the covers over my head and lay, hiding myself from the light. "Hurry up", he says as he leaves and walks upstairs to get his coffee.

Just another ordinary day.

I pack my lunch, and mom gets in the shower. Put the bread in the toaster, out pops the toast, butter, eat. I sit down and watch half an hour of T.V.. I walk outside into the cold, wait for the bus to arrive, and sit down. 30 minutes there, and wait for an hour for the morning bell. The same crap arrives. "Matt, you need to finish this assignment", "Matt, stay on task". I get through the day though, relatively hassle free. 30 minutes back to get back home.

Just another ordinary day.

I walk down into my room, sit at the computer, and log on. I'll talk to my friends, or play some Online shooters. The usual. "Matt, dinner". Mom yells at me from the top of the stairs. I lock the computer, walk upstairs, and sit at the table. Ate my dinner in peace, then went to go have a shower. Halfway down the hall, dad pipes in. "Matt, could you wait for awhile to have your shower?". "Sure dad." I say, not thinking anything of it. I walk downstairs, and play on my computer for an hour or so. After my final game, I slip the headphones off. The house is silent. I walk upstairs, look out the kitchen window, and my dads truck is missing. Odd, but he probably went to buy some smokes, or visit a friend. I open the hallway closet, get a towel and open the bathroom door. I stop.
There's my mom. Her throat slit, and a giant gash down the middle of her back. The blood running off her feet. Swaying back and forth, twirling in mid-air. Hand prints on the mirror and walls. He battered and beaten body lay lifeless in the middle of the pristine bathroom. The only sound in the house, is the one of her blood dripping into the bathtub below.

Just another ordinary day.

Well its grim and a bit of a shocker for an "ordinary day" thats for sure.

Just one quick correction though (for flow purposes)

Is she hanging in mid-air, or laying on the floor?

Figured I'd miss a few errors. Thanks.
