Lights over Portsmouth

I don't know if anybody has posted this today, I cannot find it... So I'll post it.

I heard about an hour ago on the radio (UK) that people last night (Sunday) took video footage of hundreds of un-explainded lights over Portsmouth UK!

Sounds like a UK version of the Pheonix Lights. Has anybody else heard this?

I haven't got any links or anything of the likes, like I said... I only heard about this 1 hour ago - plus as it's new 'news', it may not be on the Internet yet.

Nope, nada, nil. There is nothing on the Portsmouth, UK news sites about it. Keep us posted.

Well since Portsmouth is like another country wait for it to go through customs for any drugs those Portsmouth people are little terrors when it comes to that

that strange as i was bout to post a story of wot happened to the plumber i work with last night. he lives in portsmouth and was walking home from a friends house when he heard a humming noise comming from above. said he looked around and couldnt see anything and then there was a blue flash like a strobe and the noises stopped. after that he walked home only to be greeted by a rather angry wife askin him why hes an hour and a half l8 and why couldnt she get through to his mobile.

dunno if he saw these strange lights last night and made the story up but he was pretty freaked and hardly got any work done today !

This is very odd...

My parents heard it on the radio... They said the radio headline also stated that it was reported in newspaper today (Monday).
Though they forgot which one, they said they think it was the Independant.

It is very weird there is nothing anywhere about it.
But then I suppose these days if a sighting does take place, it is hushed up pretty quick.

im just tryin to work out if this plumber was telling the truth, he sounded genuine enough and was really freakin out. just very odd that this was the first post i saw when i was gonna post bout him.

They were just flares.....ummmm......swamp gass......NO, no I mean the planet Pluto. Nothing to see here. Move along, move along.

Hmm. I just checked google's news search function. No mention of this at all. I would love to find out more.

Maybe because people, reporters, and what not find it unbelievable; heck, I didn't believe either until my first sighting. Maybe the radio station your parents (or you?) heard it from is all "stuffy"; is the radio station of leginament hearing? I don't know, but 100 lights in the sky would be quite astonishing! I'm going to look at a couple of sources and see if it will say anything; maybe I will look again tomorrow since this just happened. I looked through the link that "drunk" gave, but couldn't find anything.

Since your in the UK area, wasn't there hundreds or even thousands of people who sighted a large ship back in the 1990s or 80s? I'm just trying to do a little research on UFOs, but it's hard to find laiginment sources instead of those fake sights.

not topic but just a little bit of 6am tuesday morn spam,
this article was/is the only thing that mentioned the word "flashing lights" and because it was publisised today, and its from portsmouth i thought "hey, lets link it because i doubt we will hear anything else about it, and i thought it was my little jest at the gov/agencies who really try to cover up these sightings with bazzar excuses. i'm not ridiculing the original poster because im a FIRM believer and yeh what was seen could be something true.
jeeze i didnt have to spell that out really,

just to let u know the plumber who thinks he was abducted didnt turn up today. dont blame him if wot he says is true. im still thinkin wether i believe him or not all he got goin for him was his behaviour yesterday and that was too convincing.

other than that i havnt found anything about these lights on any local news but ill keep searchin.

That's very weird about your plumber...

When you see him next, have a good talk with him. See if he still says the same story, or if he has solved the mystery.
